The most charming of all times
I wish Agnetha had written more of her own material during her post-ABBA career, she's got a great sense of melody and of course, a phenomenal voice to carry them.
People only have so many songs in them. I think she held very high standards for herself and would not write or try to release anything unless she felt it was good enough.
Most artists just keep pumping out stuff after the creative well has dried up... I don't blame them at all... it's their craft, it's what they do. I thank Agnetha for not doing that and not letting herself put out simply album 'filler tracks'.

One of her strengths... not only in songs she wrote herself but also in other people's songs that she chose to sing for us. Необыкновенно талантливый продюссер и автор множества композиций - Майкл Чапмэн, работавший с Си Си Кэтч, Сьюзи Кватро, Смоками, и солисткой группы АББА Агнеттой - все эти певцы под его руководством становились более популярными. А мы редко вспоминаем, благодаря кому они стали популярными.
Майк Чапмэн прекраснейший автор, неувядающие шедевры подарил нам! Согласен с Вами! Только Си Си Кэтч создал Дитер Болен.
Хорошо, что вы упомянули этот факт. Впрочем, неудивительно, что все восхищаются прекрасным бриллиантом, а не ювелиром, вставившим его в кольцо. :)
Агнета не стала популярнее с ним! Ее поклонники из АВВА никогда не забудут ее и до сих пор восхищены ее пением и образом. Чепман подхватил ее на пике популярности после распада группы, но, по-моему, не удержал и не смог создать для ее голоса достойной оправы. Ее собственная песня Man одна из лучших на диске, но всего лишь одна ее авторства. Диск очень хорош, но не уровня АВВА, а голос ее здесь лучше чем в АВВА, она очень сильна даже по ее собственным ощущениям. Лучше Бенни никто не чувствовал солисток... Увы

- AGNETHA FÄLTSKOG wrote her first song "Two little trolls" when she was five years old. Her father Ingvar was interested in amateur theater and used to put on small performances and local revues in Jönköping. When Fältskog was six years old, she made her stage debut by performing the song "Billy Boy" in one of her father's Christmas performances.
- Agnetha Fältskog took early piano lessons, and she also performed at church. When she was seven years old, she received a piano as a gift from her parents. At the age of thirteen, she formed the group The Cambers together with her childhood friends Lena Johansson and Elisabeth Strub. Agnetha's main idol at this time was the American singer Connie Francis. Agnetha Fältskog graduated in 1967. After that she stopped studying to pursue a career as a singer and songwriter.
- CAREER BEFORE ABBA: As a 16-year-old, Fältskog became a member of the Swedish dance band Bernt Enghardt's orchestra. At the same time, she worked as a switchboard operator at a car company. Agnetha Fältskog wrote her songs. In Love) in November 1967, which also became her first No1 at Kvällstoppen in early 1968. The album was sold in over 180,000 copies. She also appeared in the film Raskenstam in 1983 and sang the song "It's So Nice to Be Rich" the same year as a leitmotif in the film P&B. AGNETHA participated as a songwriter in the Melodifestivalen 1981, when she together with Ingela Forsman wrote "But the night is ours". AGNETHA recorded the duets "Never Again" (with Tomas Ledin) in 1982, "The Way You Are" (with Ola Håkansson from the band " Secret Service ") 1986 and" I Wasn't the One (Who Said Goodbye) "(with Peter Cetera from the band" Chigago ") 1987. -
- Agnetha Fältskog released the single" If I Thought You 'in early 2004 d Ever Change Your Mind ", which is a Cilla Black song from the 1960s. In April 2004, the cover album My Coloring Book followed, which topped the Swedish sales lists and gave Fältskog a platinum record. On March 11, 2013, Fältskog released a new single, "When You Really Loved Someone". It is included in the album A, which was later released in May.
