- Agnetha sings her second song on "The Heat Is On" Special from April 1983. This show was part of a promotional tour to publicise her first solo album after Abba, which was called "Wrap Your Arms Around Me". The album reached No.1 in Sweden, Norway, Finland, Belgium and Denmark.
Here she sings the title track from the album. This song had limited release as a single, but still reached No.1 in Belgium and No.3 in Holland. Her whispering technique here is as hot as anything you will ever see in a song. She censors it herself by turning her back completely to the audience. As always Agnetha does not hold back in her performances. This will set your temperatures rising alright!

Her best solo song. Very romantic song. She still electrifying today as she ever was. With ABBA Voyage still hasn't declined long live Agetha.

This song was the title track and second single from Agnetha's first solo album after Abba - "Wrap Your Arms Around Me" in the 80's but got less promotion than "The Heat is On" which was the first single from the album which is the reason a lot of people don't really know this song. This is a pity as the song is so good.

It's easy to see how much she is loved all over the world when you look at these comments and see all the different languages and countries mentioned. I listen to ABBA videos every day, and I see this all the time. I doubt there is any other artist who has this broad a fan base on the entire globe! Most are restricted to their native country, or at least their continent.

Not only without her vocals. We can only guess how big her impact on ABBA really was, but if you take a look at her work before, especially her work as composer, and after, than you get the idea that her influence was huge.

OMG! First time I’ve seen this video on utube. I picked this song to be sung at my wedding. When I suggested it to my “bride to be” she wasnt convinced because she had never heard it. I found the song and bought it. Played for her…she cried. At our wedding yea we both cried when it was sung. After the wedding her mom told me it was “the” perfect song selection for the 2 of us. We’ve divorced since then…she decided she wanted a different life…this song still brings tears to my eyes every time I hear it. Reminds me of when…I was happiest!

Even thought her solo career never really took off outside of northern Europe, I can't help thinking that she had the potential to be a much bigger star than she already was. I imagine that's why she was given the lead and told to let rip in a few of the last ABBA songs. There was something refined, yet still raw and powerful about her emotional expression in a song.
