Seems like things didn't end so well at Alicia's... Thankfully you're working with good people and it so happens that one of your colleague found you and... saved you. Now it is time for a little chat.
Can't have a proper detective story without a trip to the morgue, right? I'm maybe adding too much characters to this story but... it's a lot of fun so, let's see how things evolve from here!

Listened for the first time while working, just after you uploaded. Completely gripped from the start. It's amazing how ones surroundings / weather etc can affect the way you react to stories such as this.

I loved this story expanding a bit. That was why I voted to see the coroner rather than the detective's partner. But now I feel sorry for the detective more than anything. He formed one addiction, used a second addiction to 'cope' with the first and is now stuck between a vampire and a witch (lock of hair suggests creation of a poppet for control of some kind). I'd say that at least he has his partner, but who knows what's buried in her?
And that all means it's great storytelling!

I can't remember which Vampire book it was in, but there was a short scenario presented that would be unexpected, at the least. It was a very basic description. I guess so the Storyteller could fill in details as they wished.
A group of humans has found a 6th gen. Elder in Torpor. And they have formed a cult around them. One of the rituals they made up was draw some blood from the Elder, feed it to a goat, release the goat into the woods and then hunt it down. And the characters stumble into this hunt. I remember the enhanced goat was pretty impressive. It could easily beat a player caliber vampire. Fun times. 🧛‍♂️🐐

Over here we have a snack cake company, Little Debbie. I always say she was my true childhood friend. I know it's the cheap stuff, but I'm easy to please. Or have low standards. 😋 Also one of my great-uncles had a roughly five meter square plot of sugar cane. Oh my gaaawd. Nomnomnom.😆

Sweets are everything... I live near an American bakery and they make the most delicious cookies I've ever had in my life... I just need to be extra careful not to eat too much there 😆

At the risk of being long winded. The only proper doughnut shop anywhere near me is independent. In addition to the doughnuts, and a few other American pastries, they have kolaches. An American adaptation of a Chech pastry, apparently. But, being American, it's no longer pastry filling but meat or vegetables. And the vegetable filling is Bourdain. Oh, and the family that owns the shop is from Cambodia. 😲
