  • Here it is, finally, the 1k Thank you video!
So, after recording and editing this video... I have even more respect for streamers and playthrough channels, because it is not easy at all to play something and trying to be somewhat entertaining, or at least not boring (and to be honest with you, I think I miserably failed here...).
Si this is the very first time I've ever recorded myself playing a game. It shows... But at least I had some questions to answer so it's not just plain boredom... or so I hope!
I've added some timestamps bellow so you can skip the parts that do not interest you. I've tried to edit the Q&A parts so they are also a bit more... entertaining and not just a blank screen.
So yeah, thank you all again for your support, your presence. Seeing my silly audios being enjoyed by so many is huge. So thank you all!

Forgive me, as I crawl out from under my rock, but I've never heard of Geoguessr. This is fascinating. I'll be glued to this for a while.

Thank you for sharing a lil bit of your world and congratulations on 1k (now 1.3 :o)!
The vibe in this video was so chill and welcoming that if you wanted to do more Geoguessr every once in a while talking about whatever you want, I'd be all over that ^^

That was a nice, chill QA video. I could easily watch you play geoguessr for an hour. You should make that a series. 😊

Thank you! Wasn't sure about the Geoguessr par, it's really hard to focus and try to say interesting thigs at the same time... But I still had fun doing it, so, maybe I'll play another game sometime :)

You channel has been my absolute favorite the last few months - thank you for such spectacular roleplays! It's lovely to get a peek behind the curtain, too. Coincidentally, your music, gaming, and literary genres are my favorites, too!

Very chill to listen to, and entertaining to see you play Geoguessr. I learned a little about French geography - nice little bonus.

Thank you for suffering for our entertainment. 🙃 I would probably never guess correctly, but just keep playing for the scenery. 👌
A literature graduate, Oh dear, now I feel gulity about going on about Lovecraft. You probably knew all that already, I apologize. 😔
For context, because of recommendations and used book stores, most fantasy I'm familiar with are from the 1980s and 90s. After bingeing those for years I just drifted away from reading in favor of video. So I'm afraid I'm not very knowledgeable about current works.
But, anyhoo, I'd say Terry Brooks is a good choice. Magic Kingdom for Sale, definitely. There is the Shannara series, but those get longer as it goes. I believe the third or fourth book was over 1000 pages paperback.
Two more are from D&D: the Drizzit Do'Urden(?spelling) series by R. A. Salvadore. And for something epic, The Dragonlance Saga by Margret Weiss and Tracy Hickman. One more, Flight of Dragons, have forgotten the author. But there is an animated adaptation that can be found on CZcams.
I will mention I do love animation, to the point I sometimes question myself. Thinking: this is terrible. And yet I'm still watching it. I guess I'll finish it to know just how bad it really is. 🤔
To jump to film, perhaps you have seen the 1979 German version of Nosferatu?
Ok, last thing, I mentioned Brotherhood of the Wolf because the character of the "one armed" noble. For me, that is a French Drow.🤪
Thank you so much for all your work. Hope you have a good weekend. 👏👍👋

Geoguessr is quite addictive to be honest 😁 It's also a nice way to discover other countries 🙂
Don't feel guilty! Au contraire, it's great to share knowledge and I'm always eager to learn, so please, don't stop 🙂 I might have graduated in literature, but it doesn't mean I know everything about it. So no need to apologize!
Your recommendations are perfect actually. I do love discovering books from different time periods, so 80's and 90's are just great, thank you 🙂 I'll add all these to my future read list (which is huge!).
And there's nothing wring with liking animation, and also having guilty pleasures with some stuff that is not so great 😁
So I've watched the 1979 version of Nosferatu, I think I saw it in high school for art's history class or something. But I think I do enjoy the original more 🙂
We're always coming back to French Drow!
Thank you for your support and all your comments 🙂

I understand with Nosferatu. I remember a lot of daytime scenes in the '79 version. And the interior scenes I remember were well lit. The whitewashed castle was a surprise. Not very fitting for gothic horror. 😁👍

Thank you for the videos and congrats on 1k! If you want to get into fantasy I would recommend you give The Mistborn Trilogy a go if you haven't already. Sanderson is one of the best fantasy writers alive. My favorite fantasy series is King's Dark Tidings by Kel Kade, I'm currently reading through it again. My favorite Sci-Fi book has got to be Project Hail Mary by Andy Wier, such a fun book. Would love to hear some of your recommendations. Also, you should try Vampyr, it's a great vampire rpg. It's on sale right now on steam.

Thank you very much for your comment and your recommendations! I tried to read Sanderson, but I guess I did get the right to start with. I read Skyward and it was too YA for my taste. I heard so much about The Mistborn Trilogy but haven't gave it a chance yet. As for Kel Kade I haven't read any of their books. As for Vampyr, I've tried it and, unfortunately it didn't work out for me. I loved the atmosphere of the game but something was off with the gameplay.

Thank you for taking the time to record this. Throughly enjoyed watching you attempt to identify the locations.
Very kind of you to provide a bit of insight into your life, even though we don't really have a right to ask, you don't owe us anything. Think it's just a natural human instinct (to be nosey)
It doesn't surprise me you work with literature, the quality of your writing sort of gives it away. I hope it's something that gives you a great deal of happiness. There's nothing better than turning a passion into a living.

Thank you again :) I wasn't this video would work, but reading you now makes the effort worth it! And no worries for the question, it was very interesting to see what you wanted to ask me, what you are interested in. It was very fun to do :)
And thank you for the huge compliment. I'm not sure that my writing is that qualitative, but I really want to improve, so that drives me to try and do better, experiment et keep going :)
