- You wake up to find yourself in the strange place... it feels so real, yet something's off... It is nowhere.
Well, I will be honest with you, I am really not sure about this one. I wanted to experiment with a concept I've had in my head for some time now. I don't expect it to work for everyone, but I'm curious to see if it resonates with some of you here.

I heard "Finally awake" and then in my head I heard "You were trying to cross the border, right? Got caught in that Imperial ambush same as us, and that thief over there."
"Damn you Stormcloaks. Skyrim was fine until you came along. Empire was nice and lazy. If they hadn't been looking for you, I could've stolen that horse and be halfway to Hammerfell. You there. You and me - we shouldn't be here. It's these Stormcloaks the Empire wants."
"We're all brothers and sisters in binds now, thief."
"Shut up back there!"
"And what's wrong with him, huh?"
"Watch your tongue. You're speaking to Ulfric Stormcloak, the true High King."
"Ulfric? The Jarl of Windhelm? You're the leader of the rebellion. But if they've captured you... Oh gods, where are they taking us?"
"I don't know where we're going, but Sovngarde awaits."
"No, this can't be happening. This isn't happening."
"Hey, what village are you from, horse thief?"
"Why do you care?"
"A Nord's last thoughts should be of home."
"Rorikstead. I'm... I'm from Rorikstead."
"...looks like the Thalmor are with him."
"General Tullius, sir. The headsman is waiting."
"Good. Let's get this over with!"
"Shor, Mara, Dibella, Kynareth, Akatosh. Divines, please help me."
"Look at him. General Tullius the Military Governor. And it looks like the Thalmor are with him. Damn elves. I bet they had something to do with this."
"Why are we stopping?"
"Why do you think? End of the line. Let's go. Shouldn't keep the gods waiting for us."
I knew I should have added a dragon in the mix ;)

I enjoyed the mystery elements of this, trying to figure out where we were, who you were, why we're here. Like a relaxing puzzle.

Really well done. This felt like something out of Bioshock: Infinite, plus the art work looks a little like Elizabeth/Anna Dewitt from the game.
I know! She looks so much like Elizabeth. Speaking of Bioshock, I do have something in mind in that lore, so... stay tuned :)

But now for real, this was very calming. The idea of a place where there are no expectations, no needs, no hurt is interesting to say the least. And your performance was perfect for this concept. Your cadence, tone, and even your accent made it really soothing.

I totally get what you mean, but it is also by making mistakes that you learn, especially a new language :) If you need to train or just want to give it go, don't hesitate to do it here, I'll never be offend by a language mistake, so just shoot :) And good luck with that!

I hope to someday travel the world, it’s been something I’ve wanted to do since I was younger so learning languages has been a huge passion of mine (especially French I’ve just never had the time until now)

I'll just say, one reason I keep coming back is I want to know what stories you want to tell. So experimental and different are just fine.😁👍
I have seen this type of story element before. But usually in the form of the character has just had something horrible happen to them or something horrible is happening right now. So that was my initial inclination, but obviously not what you meant to imply. I also like that you revealed they do this regularly, Well done.
I did have a terminology question. Is there a name for a narrator in a story that will regularly make personal observations and comments on the story? Much like The Storyteller series I mentioned before.
Since I mentioned sci-fi western last time I remembered another live action movie. Battle Beyond the Stars. It is a low budget 80s movie. And I was young when I saw it so I didn't understand what they were doing at that time. It's The Magnificent Seven, in space. They did include a cowboy like character though.😄 I have not watched them side by side to see how closely they made Battle to Seven, though.🤠

I guess we all need to stop from time to time and just take time for ourselves. It was pretty much what I wanted to convey here, a sort of meditative state were you appear in a happy place.
As for your question... I guess it would be a commentator narrator? Not sure on that one, but it seems kind of right.
I don't think Battle Beyond the Stars made it in France... not that I'm aware of, but I just took a look at some pictures and I love the aesthetics :) it seems like a lot of fun to watch!
