I've worked with Nicholas Myers; he was the music director for a community theatre production of South Pacific I was in. His artistic/musical visions and interpretations always leave me speechless, like, "I didn't even think of that..." Fun fact? Nick was Jean Valjean in the school edition of Les Mis TWICE: once when he was 14(!) and again as a HS senior.

I think your performance was nice, but not interesting. Nice notes, but you said nothing. Not necessarily the choir's fault, but it was lifeless singing with such a rich text - how can you not sing with so much intent!?! I appreciate the technique used, but do something with it!
We sang this at Stillwater highschool for our winter concert and it never left me. In 24 now and will never forget this
