follow up response... it's not not personal, ya know? I have a lot of issues with a lot of people in my life. The whole "I hope when you think of me years down the line, you can't find one good thing to say" comes to mind, because so many people I've known have nothing good to say about me anymore. So it goes. At least if we all died, the negativity would finally stop. What can you do? When you're a pariah, some people will just dig until they finally find a reason to bitterly hate you. This song really did feel personal because of how aggressive it is with the cold honesty. I'll find the right people someday. Or die trying

This is a genuine favorite song of mine and at first I didn't like this cover, then all that bitterness and anger came out and I love the cover. It reminds me of the cover of I will survive by cake in that they made it their own. It was just more bitter then the original song. Love it man.

Damn dude this cover is pretty damn awesome. So far each cover of No Children I have heard becomes personal & emotional, and I won’t lie it just makes the song all more hard hitting and memorable. Almost everyone seems to relate to it in some sort of extent, no matter if it’s because of an actual failing marriage, broken friendship or abuse of any kind people manage to make this song into truth. Weather you view this as positive or not it’s your decision. I think that is what makes this song one of the best songs ever written and sang, but that’s just my view on it, I respect everyone who makes covers of it. Even if I am a few years late.
