I'm glad you mentioned rokon. Great company, great bike!
I own one. Have had a lot of reliability issues: Both tires flatted due to tube failure, total battery failure, motor control center failure. When it’s running it’s great, but probably best to live near a dealer who can help you troubleshoot issues.
Did UBCO give you any info as to what the life cycle of the batteries is? I didn't see anything on the website.
need one of these for my bug-out kit!
I can't find the video why you mansion about the solar panel I'm looking for I can't find it I I described
These UBCO bikes are a game changer. There USA distribution/office is just a few miles down the road from me. I’m in the moto world so I’ve ridden them and I see them being used as a pit bike as well.
75 miles is awful for something without pedals. I do that on a regular bike. They should make a longer rear swingarm and have panniers extend behind your legs so you can fit two more batteries. But if you're doing that you might as well use gasoline.
I visited the UBCO website and they are charging $6,500 for this E-Bike! It's not really useful with only a 70 mile range when you are camping far away from any tone or city. That means that to use this E-Bike for camping in a remote area you need to purchase and have with you a solar powered generator, or a gas powered generator and extra fuel. This all amounts to a burdensome camping trip. No thanks I'll walk. - Peter age 74
