Best ride in the world
Just did this ride today. Although the setup was very cool and I felt like I was in the Tron world, the ride itself felt too short for the amount of time you spent waiting on line.

Tron Lightcycle / Run is a motorcycle-type launch coaster, where riders board the train as if they’re mounting a motorcycle. Riders will kneel, lean, and pull the handlebars towards them to “synchronize” with their assigned lightcycle. Tron Lightcycle / Run is launch coaster that propels users (guests) up to 59mph (97 km/h) Tron Lightcycle / Run is based off the 2010 film *TRON: Legacy,* big brother of TRON. Tron Lightcycle / Run has a pretty long track, but the reason why it felt short was because of the high speed of the coaster, not the track. The speed of a roller coaster is a factor of determining how long a roller coaster is.
Now you know why Tron Lightcycle / Run is pretty short for the long wait time on queue.

I did this a few days ago and it is not worth a long wait. 40-50 minutes max. I waited an hour and a half and the ride was less than 2 minutes. Really expecting more.

Yeah I feel you, I was able to ride it yesterday and had to wait 2 hours for a 2 minute ride… the ride itself was amazing and I loved it but I agree the wait was ridiculous. It prob will get better it’s just yesterday was first day everyone could ride it

@@nateverdebro Cosmic Rewind is the best roller coaster at Epcot. The carts drift on the track and it is fun as hell dude. (I would know because back in August I took my very first trip to Walt Disney World.)

Jesus it’s 100%like the tron in shanghai, three years ago I was in shanghai and take it almost ten times, to be honest this is my favourite in Disney land, one year ago I moved in Canada with my family, first I thought that I have no more chance to play tron again, but after a year, the new tron available in the US, I’m very toughed. Because this project symbolizes the end of my childhood, I am very grateful for Disney's care for children's amazing dreams🥹

Is it the because of the camera or are the visuals of that ride just very sparse and not that good? I think I would prefer more of the visual element than the video shows, as it is such a stunning part of the Tron world. Looks pretty underwhelming.
The camera angle may have cut some out but I felt there could have been more visuals.
This version of the ride is less faster if you compare the first one in Shanghai.

I didn’t recall catching much air. I believe the disability carts do have doors but can’t remember.
I wish it was longer. I rode it 3 times 2 weeks ago.

My biggest complaint for both rides. There isn't enough Tron style aesthetic or connections. If you've never seen Tron or Tron legacy, this just looks like a very generic future bike race. Having Sam, Quorra, and Flynn(Flynn Lives!) make at least one appearance somewhere would have been nice. Or maybe even some characters from Tron:Uprising. Personally, I would have loved a Daft Punk cameo or soundtrack for the ride but they broke up before the ride was built so I will respect that
I haven’t had the chance to go to Shanghai yet but I was letdown with how short the ride is.
All the music in the ride is by daft punk or a remix of it…
@@PaddleTales24 I meant have them do an original score for the ride specifically, maybe do it in a way where each soundtrack for each ride is its own sound but are also separate layers of a completely different sound(I forget the musical term for it, they did it with the character themes in Steven Universe)

I’m an annual passholder. They have passholder previews for new rides but I believe Tron is open to everyone now.

the Tron ride is ENTIRELY TOO SHORT !!!...PERIOD! Guardians of the Galaxy and Velicicoaster really give you your money's worth. Tron should be minimum 135 seconds, but more like 120 seconds, or two minutes. A 1 minute ride on such an expensive ride to build is ridiculous. Is Expedition Everest only 60 seconds? Give the young people their money's worth...Yes?

It all makes sense now
Looks way too short, underwhelming and not very thematic in terms of the actual gaming or "battling use" aspect to light cycles. They could have had ride workers dressed in outfits, also made the ride encompass cgi cycles appearing alongside and (in some minimal aspect at least) running into your 'tail' (or you avoiding theirs). Guess Disney needs to save all the money they can for their woke content losses.
The ride definitely could have been longer.
