Drill pillar will work as well. The one where you set in your electric drill. I do use a press and set the slider up into the chuck. The rav 4s sliders are pretty narrow and fit easy in the chuck. I can also use a fine diamond file to smooth.
Also works well if you have a drill press handy. My daughters rav 4 sliders always need some love.
