City of Ryde Recycling - SL021

In this video we see Ryde garbage truck SL021, collecting the recycling on a sunny Monday morning in the suburb of Ryde. I managed to capture this footage on the public holiday Monday and this driver was having one of the days were nothing was working for him, nearly every 5 bins there was a problem with the bin being out of reach, bin behind cars and problems with the arms reach and lift, every driver gets one of these days and these problems are out of his control and once again this driver got through it and managed to finish on time. You will probably notice that this truck looks pretty clean and this is because all trucks get cleaned on Friday so they are nice and clean for the next week but it does not take long until they get dirty, especially the garbage with all the dust from Eastern Creek Landfill. It works out well for me that the trucks are clean on Monday which means I can get pictures of clean trucks and SL021 on this day really stood out as the truck looked cleaner than it has ever been. In other Ryde news, it is official news, that the new contract will be starting in May 2015 as I have found out from this driver and others. Plenty more footage of this truck to come collecting both greenwaste and recycling. Also want to get footage of this truck collecting units recycling on the Tuesday zone which I will get in the holidays.Thanks goes to this awesome quality driver for letting me get the footage and I hope him and his family enjoy the footage. Thanks Liam, Yeah true mate and also was a public holiday and I wish people would care for the garbo by not planting your bin out of reach and gluing them together, people never learn. Still going strong mate best sounding in the fleet apart from the genv :D
