I just did a ride in windpower 5/6 but with temperature 9-10 degrees C. I found them colder then I expected. Knees and the back of the bum. When you do harder efforts, or less wind, or more offroad riding it's probably doable with the temperature. Although I dont see myself riding at 0-5 degrees comfortably. Fit is good, but runs small. Normally L, I have XL and even then it's on the tight side. I am skinny, 1.90 78 kg but never have a maybe felt the need to go 2XL lol.

Yes..with Castelli, I always have to size up. Their sizing is challenging and for that reason, I have problems with their tops and don't own any...just the bibs.

Started out with 1 pair of these, now I have 3. 1 of them is the bib knicker version. The fit and the pad is A1. My favorite tights.

I wear them from 4C and up. Below that, they don't handle the cold too well. I love the fit.

Just ordered a pair of these for UK winter I'm currently using the Castelli LW 2 tight and it is brilliant for autumn and mild winter days but not quite warm or water resistant enough for deep winter. The progetto X2 is phenomenal my absolute favourite pad.

I have had the same experience. It's actually more of a milder conditions tight. 0-6 degress and it becomes to cold probably. More autumn and mild winter. 7/8- 15 degress its perfect

Great video. Need something for the cold NY winters. I’m 6’ 185 lbs, 33” waist and 34” inseam. You look similar but can’t tell. Would you say XXL would work for me as Castelli’s sizing chart doesn’t look like it is accurate for these tights. Thanks!

If that’s a 2XL then I need a 6XL cause I’m 100kg and you look around 85kg max.
