  • Victrix Armaments Gladio V Sniper Rifle Features and User Guide
    Let me introduce you to the Victrix Gladio V .308 rifle. This rifle is part of the Victrix Professional series of firearms and is designed for law enforcement, military and sporting use. Victrix Gladio rifles are Victrix's tribute to the main weapon of ancient Rome.
    They are easy to handle and carry and have an amazingly smooth action. TheVictrix Armaments Gladio V is a well designed and manufactured rifle. It has a good, solid, folding stock and the full-length top Picatinny allows for optics and night vision/thermal capabilities to be mounted.
    This video should be used in conjunction with the operator's manual supplied with the Victrix Armaments Gladio V Sniper Rifle, it is not a substitute for you reading and understanding the manual for yourself.

    I enjoyed this video a lot. Thanks for taking the time to highlight this rifle. I purchased a Victrix Armaments Pugio V a little while back & I have to say that these are the smoothest shooting rifles I've ever shot & manufacturing & materials used to produce these are second to none.

      @JonCresswellUk  Před 2 lety +2

      Thanks 😊 How is the Pugio? I really like the idea of how compact it is. What’s it like at range?
      100% the actions are so smooth

    • @gtrules46
      @gtrules46 Před 2 lety +1

      @@JonCresswellUk At the range it's extremely loud for sure but like you said the action is buttery smooth. The triggers are next level. I sighted it in at 100 yards & only pushed it out to 500. One inch groups at 500 yds are easy with these rifles.
      Optic of choice is the Nightforce ATACR
      7-35X56 & works pretty well.

      @@gtrules46 yes it’s loud with the muzzle brake, especially on an indoor range. Works well with a moderator 😎
      An inch at 500 is great! Nice shooting! I’ve yet to try this rifle out at range, but we are hoping to take it out and shoot some steels in the near future 🤞

      I was very tempted with the Pugio, a very capable rifle. You’re right, the action is super smooth! My Gladio has a 1:11 twist.

    Love your user guides on the victrix rifles. I plan on getting the gladio in 6.5 creedmoor.
    I’ve got the Scorpio V in 338. Any chance that you plan on doing a video on the Scorpio? Would love to hear your opinion.

      One of my shooting buddies just bought the Gladio in 6.5 creedmoor 😍. It’s an awesome rifle and it will be like shooting laser beams in creedmoor!
      I’ve not had the chance to get hands on a .338 yet, I’d love to do a video on one. The Scorpio V looks like a lovely rifle and it would be great at long range shooting - the quality of engineering is second to none

    Thanks for sharing your impressions with this great rifle. I also own the same model with the same color but with a Kahles K525i Scope and I'm very happy with it. I can achieve 0.3 MOA groups (300m) with GGG Sierra Match Ammunition. I also mounted the new Victrix Magnus muzzle brake which looks amazing. By the way: You can decock the bolt while first pressing the trigger and then closing the bolt. So you don't need to dryfire to decock.
    Thanks also for showing disassembly of the bolt - I did not know yet, how do do this.

      Thanks for the decocking tip 👍 useful to know. That’s awesome shooting! 0.3 at 300 is ideal.
      What do you think of the new brake? I’ve only tried it on the .375 cheytac

      @@JonCresswellUk The new Magnus brake looks like a part of an alien weapon - just great 🙂 It works fine but it is a little demanding with cleaning. You will see all the carbon redsidue on the shiny surface. Anyway - a "must have" 🙂

      @@rolfgeissinger6227 I agree! I was thinking it looks like something from terminator 😎. Would a sonic cleaner bring it back to new? Definitely want one on mine if I get one 😊

      @@JonCresswellUk I use Boretech Carbon Remover (great stuff!) for cleaning the Magnus brake. But it's no big fun to do this work. Perhaps a sonic cleaner could help but I do not have one available. Or you will accept a "vintage -used-look" 🙂

    Thanks for your perfect video ! Can you please do me a favor ? Which 10 round magazines fit for this weapon ? It would be very helpful for me , cause I bought this rifle and I've been looking for the magazines for a long time....

    • @JonCresswellUk
      @JonCresswellUk  Před 6 měsíci +1

      It works with all AICS magazines. The metal MDT .308 mags work best for me. I have 10 round, but they also make 12 round mags.

      They come in .308, 260 Remington and 6.5 creedmoor.
      Price wise I guess it depends what country you are in. They are made in Italy so they will be imported (unless you live in Italy 😁). I’m the UK I think they cost around £6,200.
