    Looks great man. I bet these would be a good suppressor host. No blow back or sound. Take care and thank you.

      🤔 not tried it with a suppressor but that would be fun

      @@JonCresswellUk Pretty sure they have a compatible Wildcat on site.

      @@ianvincent4911 no doubt 😃. They usually have quite a selection of wildcats in the shop - it always takes me ages to walk through that shop to get to the range as I want to look at everything 😛

      @@JonCresswellUk When I noticed the threaded muzzle, I asked Richard about it. Going to have to get a 9mm moderator slot on my next variation.

      @@ianvincent4911 ☺️ they do have some nice rifles. I’m keeping my eyes out for a bolt action 6.5 creedmoor 🤞

    Nice video and neat rifle. I really wish one day you Brits will be able to own a normal AR again.

      @JonCresswellUk  Před 2 lety +2

      Yes that would be great but it’ll never happen. We can own straight pull ARs but not semi or full auto on a normal firearms licence.

    Looks like instead of a rotary delay bolt you have used a .223 bolt with a 9mm face to satisfy the UK regs?

    Hi Jon - an observation - the charging handle seems to have taken a lot of the cerakote off when it cycles forward. Is that normal, or just the one you were using?

    • @JonCresswellUk
      @JonCresswellUk  Před 2 lety +2

      I’d not noticed that before! We’ll spotted. I believe this is one of their first production versions, so I expect they will have tweaked the straight pull handle. It’s a fair point, so I’ll pass your comment on to them 👍
      Thanks for letting me know.

    5 ROUND ACCURACY AT 25 AND 50 YDS? What other pistol calibers might be available?

    • @JonCresswellUk
      @JonCresswellUk  Před 2 lety +1

      I didn’t do an accuracy test for grouping, but I was hitting the duelling tree every time on the 25m range.
      Not sure about other pistol calibres 🤷‍♂️. I know they have .22 WMR, .223 and 9mm at the moment. I expect there will be more to follow!

      Hi, great bunch of videos. I am still new to this and one question that comes to mind is what are the positiveness negatives of using 9mm over 223 on this (or any other) rifle? Thanks

    • @JonCresswellUk
      @JonCresswellUk  Před 2 lety +2

      @@colmanscapers7498 hi, there’s lots of arguments for and against rifle calibers online and it depends on what you want to use the rifle for.

      @@JonCresswellUk thanks for the reply. It would be shooting for fun plinking (25-35m) but also long range target shooting.. obviously different rifles would be used for each. I was just wondering what the main use for 9mm would be? Thanks.

    • @JonCresswellUk
      @JonCresswellUk  Před 2 lety +2

      Definitely not long range as 9mm is not that great at distance. So the 25-35m shooting would be fun with the 9mm. You could also consider .22 WMR as you could use it for plinking and it will be good out to about 300m.
