- Container rollover on 710 freeway - rotator recovery. Welcome back folks to ANOTHER container rollover! Been a cool minute but I haven't lost my touch as is evident by this video. Loaded container filled with flooring material, took a nasty tumble in South LA, on the 710 freeway by Anaheim. Hulk and Big Flipper tackled the container, while our 50ton Vulcan controlled the tractor.
As usually happens, the load shifted during the rollover, which you can clearly see after we have it upright. This is why I always love using the rotators for the load and a heavy wrecker for the tractor. In this case, the rotators held the container while the wrecker pulled away the tractor and chassis, then the rotators counter leaned the container HARD to get the load right. Imagine all the "I could have done that with one truck" try to do this job this fast, with this kind of clearance? Sure, you could have. But would you be able to do the job in 30 min flat while keeping the freeway open?
Anyway, hope you guys enjoyed this video shot on my Sony FX3, all with the Sigma 14mm-24mm lens and edited in Adobe Premiere Pro. If you're new to the channel, then please know I focus on quality over quantity. I won't upload content for the sake of it, so apologies for the delay from my last video. Also a dad now, so busy with that as well, but I will absolutely continue my regular uploads for ya'll!
►All footage was shot with my Sony FX3 using a Sigmaf/2.8 14-24mm lens. I also edit my own footage using Adobe Premiere Pro.

Josh, welcome back bro. I’m sure the die hard fans understand and are more forgiving of your absence than the load was to that container wall lol. Enjoy being a father and remember, nothing beats spending time with your child (says the guy with no kids lol) awesome video and work though, quick work as usual for your crew. As much as these are wonderful videos to watch, and absolutely breaks my heart when I see a big rake on its side or upside down, or it just breaks my heart because I know that these guys are carrying a load for a company or for themselves and how much those vehicles vehicles much cost it must be devastating for them when this happens thank God they have trucks like yours

Another super smooth rollover. It was wild to see that balanced on the edge with all the lines slack. Massive load shift. That would be the time to have dual load cells on the lift and catch. Then you could tell if you balanced the load, while it was still in the air.

Great job You can check the counter lean load transfer by setting the load down on a couple pipes placed at the center of the trailer

Suggestion.. if you pile up some oil dry.. with a battery operated leaf blower.. you can shoot the oil dry/kitty litter under the offending rig without endangering your crew... And it makes quick work!

Again, Welcome Back,. I appreciate your work a lot. One question, this lift seemed to swing a lot more then any otyher I have watched, why?
Glad your back. Did the driver forget to lock and ZipTie the box?
Was it Load shift?
We've lost 3 trucks and containers to load shift in 3 years.
I picked up a 20 fter once 29000 lbs
The lift sat the box it leaned 6 inches
To the left so bad they couldn't relift.
Railroad opened it up. Load was loaded wrong and secure. We still refused it.
We've lost 2 20ft chassis to broken welds splitting the frame rails.
I missed the videos so bad
