- Too Fast? Container Rollover Recovery With Rotators. The ports seem to always keep us busy and this day was no exception. My guess is speed contributed to this container rollover, but luckily we were called to get this upright quick and tow it out of the way to open traffic.
Alex first used Big Flipper, a 75ton rotator, to lift and scoot the container over so I can pass through in Hulk, my 50ton rotator. From here, we both rigged to the container while Hector used the equalizing sling method on the tractor. The first lift felt immediately off as the tractor stayed on the ground while we were winching in on the container. We dropped it and I already knew it would be the front container locks, which we fixed.
Then when we went in again, the upright was as smooth as ever. Having both rotators attached to the container allowed us to not only upright it, but push it away from the concrete barrier as it came over. The end result was the container being safely in the middle and ready to tow out by Hector in our 50ton Vulcan wrecker.

You guys continue to make it look so easy. That what professional means.
Thanks! Means a lot to notice our craft
I love watching your videos. I had a long career in the fire service. We always supported law enforcement and tow companies with traffic control. The big plus was watching the recoveries. Thanks.
We work closely with fire service for some of these bigger jobs, they're always so professional and knowledgeable
Quality equipment makes the job easier.
Josh, Alex and Hector, what a fine job. You guys make a great team!! Stay safe out there.
Another container set back on its wheels and towed away! Good job guys.
Always Josh, you have The best videos of shipping containers rollovers are trucks. Even fishing for cars thank you for the videos you're the best
As usual a very good job. Love watching you guys...
And that's why I keep uploading weekly, as long as the fans love it!
They should develop an electronic sign which displays in big letters: "Container Rollovers Since (date)" and have a a large sized number display with the rollover count.
For extra brownie points, the number should start intermittently flickering to the next number and back in very vibrant colours if it detects a container or large truck approaching at excessive speed. Sort of a subtle as a train wreck "Will you be the next next one?" scare them straight message. Even better if it also displays a rough financial value of cargo and vehicular losses incurred by the unlucky drivers.
This is an awesome idea I love it 😂
Josh another great video with teamwork! Thanks for sharing! Kevin
I don't have the technical words, but I like how there is no bouncing when the vehicle is flipped. You just pick it up, turn it over and put it down safely and gently. It's an art-form!
He is very inspiring, I admire his passion
M-100 is the ultimate beast.
Hey Josh /// Alex & Hector !!!! Another great recovery in less then 1 hr. !!!!! 🙃😉😊🤔🙄👀👀👀👍👍👍👍👍
Another awesome job 🤓🙋♂️👍
You guys rocks! Make it look as an easy fix, but that container was heavy, very heavy. Rotators are Gods gift to your trade. Keep 'em comin '!😊
Great video guys! Love the drone shots...!
Oh ya those drone shots add a great view to these jobs.
Alex the Spider Monkey for the WIN!
Good job Josh, thanks.
Great 👍 team work.
VERY nice! The multiple views and drone really add interest and "flavor" to the video.
You guy make it look easy keep up the good work
Another day at the office. You guys make it look easy. Like the multiple cam angles. Nice work.
Good afternoon from Southeast South Dakota
Like a glove. Nice and smooth
Good job
Darn, there goes Monday! I should of saved it, but the temptation was too great.
Another job well done you need papi chulo joe on your videos Josh ❤😮❤
good job guys....
Container rollovers sure do keep you guys busy. Curious what percentage of your jobs are container rollovers?
You guys make it look so easy.
Loved it! Peace out til next one.
Good job 👍
I was impressed with Alex’s climbing skills without a ladder
You should see him scale the border wall. He was quick
You guys make it look easy
You can get them back up almost as fast as truckers can tip them over.
great job as always keep up the good work.
Took me a moment to realise that was a train moving to the left of you @ 08:30 😂 Also as you are there that often maybe they could make you a Pepe parking spot the other side of that guardrail
You can see it anytime before that where the camera is turned the right direction. Sitting at first, moves a bit about 6:15, then starts moving for real at 8:20.
Damn bro you make it look so easy another one owned, stay safe guys
I don't know what was in that container, but the round pockmarks imprinted onto the roof are quite something.
I don't know that we've ever seen impact/witness marks like that before.
Lots of tires popped on this one, in addition to the tractor there was a visibly dented rim and popped tire on the trailer.
The 2nd one I've seen on this curve, time to change the speed limit just for rigs.
👍
17:03 - something flew from the back driver side wheel well area right over Alex's head.
bad drivers taking curves to fast with top heavy containers have made your company rich, right?
probably well off and able to buy really good rotators.
Our heavy towing account work is our bread and butter. But these roll overs sure do help maintain payments and keep the lights on 😂
I hope you latched the container doors.
I just have curiosity question can one rotator upright a heavy load with truck still attached or is two trucks needed it is totally curiosity got on that
With the damage done to the container what happens to it from Australia
Is it because they are driving to fast or is it something else that is causing them to flip
Are you going to invest in a Miller Century M-100
Absolutely not
@@PepesTowingService too expensive at 1.5 mil
It just doesn’t make sense. For that price I can get two new 50tons which would be 10000% more valuable. Then there’s California weight limits. We couldn’t drive it anywhere. Just doesn’t make sense for my company
Going too fast or could be on stupid youtube video.
