If I'm not mistaken, this is the first No Damage Sephiroth video on CZcams with no Limits. A pretty easy fight, the only thing I difficulty dodging was the last part of his Omnislash. You have to time the Guard/Dodge Roll absolutely perfectly or you're going to get hit. Also, before anybody asks why I chose Ultima Weapon over Divine Rose, it's because apparently, after you get a high enough strength stat, you don't do any more damage. So Ultima Weapon was chosen because it had the longest range. - Hry

@@DJMhero This is weird, but I agree and disagree with your statement at the same time, lol. Unless you're being sarcastic, which is possible. On one hand, I hated Yozora so much. Like equal if not more to how much I hated Mysterious Figure. However, on the other hand defeating Yozora felt very satisfying. That sense of... "Yeah, I did it!"
@@Zorro3k6 Yozora is an actual fight that you have to learn. You’re rewarded for learning his attack patterns & using your own resources to attack (which you have a multitude of)
MF just required you to mash dodge & spam surges

@@DJMhero I 100% agree. As much as Yozora annoyed me, it was mainly due to the drastic shift in difficulty. I played on Proud Mode from my original playthrough. The entire game was a piece of cake and then boom, hardest boss ever. Still, with a lot of practice (In my case, changing my gear) I was able to beat him after 4 or 5 days.
MF was just annoying because he hits like a truck and has very few openings. Also, Terra has a horrible dodge mechanic. With Yozora you never had to heal every single time he hit you.
The reflexes needed to consistently roll INTO him every time he teleports away are really high up there. And about the fire pillar. It triggers after he slashes 3 times I believe. So you can avoid it by just baiting him to slash his sword and waiting for him to use his fire pillar.
The pillars appesr every four slashes in a row or every seven slashes

The first time I fought him back in 2002, I didn't even have second chance yet and didn't know who he was. I was level 49 and was thinking "I can do this". I got hit and had less than a third of HP tried to heal got hit again and died.

Advice? Never mess with Keyblade wielders. This guy will show you why.
In KH1 the max level is 100. In KH2 the max level is 99.
From a kingdom hearts fanatic to another, i can tell you have alot of skill. You watched his moves learned his tricks and countered him perfectly. No one can say that you are not a pro. Bravo my good sir
It takes skill to act on your knowledge of how he fights. I can know how every move of his works and how he'll react in any situation, but if my brain and my hands aren't on the same page and my brain can't keep up with my hands or vice versa, I'm fucked.

Discription: Omnislash? sorry to bother you but Sephiroth has The move Octaslash, Omnislash is Cloud's move.
While Sephiroth does have an Octaslash attack throughout the "Compilation of Final Fantasy 7", in Kingdom Hearts 1 he uses a variation of Cloud's Omnislash.
To make matters more confusing, neither move is entirely consistent across games or movies in what it looks like or even how many slashes there are. While called Octaslash, Sephiroth does not necessarily perform eight slashes in each incarnation of the attack, nor does Cloud always perform the 15 he did in FF7.
I suspect KH1's development was a bit lazy and thus did not give Sephiroth his proper Octaslash instead of a mildly edited Omnislash.
@@DracoHandsome That's because this isn't actually Sephiroth in KH1. It's like Cloud's manifestation of Sephiroth or something like that, hence why he's right-handed in this game.

Man this brings back memories: I remember being so proud when I was first able to make his health bar move and beating him was like being on top of the world...ah, nostalgia.
The only reason I was able to beat Sephiroth was because of MP Rage and Leaf Bracer. Final Mix FTW.

It is tho. If you have the original KH, try looking for it. If you don't, then simply look it up and you'll find that Leaf Bracer was never in the original KH1.

This clearly isn't cheating, this is just knowing what your opponent next move will be, and reacting to that quick and effective. Impressive
The blade itself is around 6-8 feet long. And considering when Sephiroth attacks, his blade swings in half-circles. So when Sephiroth attacks, his blade covers around 55-100 square feet of attacking area. In less than half a second.
That's pretty amazing. Too bad there were no achievements on KH for crazy people like you.
Well there's achievements/trophies/whatever in the PS3/PS4 version now. None for a Level 1 Proud run...but there's one for doing all the synthesis bs so hey that counts

one time i beat sephiroth on a hard difficulty but it was not easy timeing everything right dogeing not takeing a hit that part was hard to do but to be honest i just like to go full at it ya know just attack and take a few hits besides no one is perfect but man this must have been a hell of a time doing this

KH is very much a game of reading and predicting your opponents movements, Sephiroth just takes it to a very high level. Some would certainly say it's not hard, but I certainly find it fun. :)
I remember the first time I beat Sephiroth. I was around level 50, and Omnislash had been killing me. I guarded it just like you did, and proceeded to win.
Never played this game myself, watched my buddy play it on an emulator and dude holy shit you're pretty good at this.

Something with abusing the amount of hits he takes before he activated his dm which is the flame pillar. I’m sure there’s someone who goes into more detail but sadly I’m not that person.

Sephiroth has two retaliation counters:
One that makes him vanish after 4 consecutive hits, and one for 7 hits if you don't hit him 4 consecutive times.
I think his 7 hit counter resets if you make him do his 4 hit retaliation in Vanilla International (which is what's being played here, it is NOT Final Mix).
However, in Final Mix, I think they changed it so it DOESN'T reset after his 4 hit retaliation, meaning that after 4 hits, hitting him 3 more times hits his other counter, making him do Firaga Pillar.

Why does he appear to take no damage at the start of the fight? Is this because he has a whole other health bar and scan doesn't support health up that high?
Yes, he has so much health that he exceeds the max.

In all the Kingdom Hearts files I've ever made, I've never had Sora level up to level 100 before Donald and Goofy, even with switching characters, solo'ing cups, etc. How did you manage it?
probably an exp item (ring, neckless etc.) It gives just the person wearing it more exp I think.
I tried that too. Put 3 exp rings on Sora and the exp still counted for everyone.
You can do solo fights such as fighting the ice titan over and over or fighting sephiroth over and over.
And people wonder why he is scared of sora in smash memes

2. Last time I checked, Sephy is completely immune to magic, so yes, you actually have to "hit" him.

Ultima Weapon is in both Kingdom Hearts and Kingdom Hearts Final Mix. The only exclusive keyblades for KHFM are Diamond Dust and One Winged Angel.
