      Hello Mr. Richard, first please let me thank you about the valuable lessons! Secondly- Could you please share the reasoning behind Q1 being wrong(49 instead of 36)? I really think is 36 and logically it is:1- in total are 100 student, out of whom only 36 got a mark of 20+(50%min is necessary to go to higher education), which means that from 36 students that have got the grades to 50% min only 13 of them got 30+. Therefore 13 should not be added to 36, since it is part of 36.

    • @ninamarkovic22
      @ninamarkovic22 Před rokem +1

      @@AnIdiot_or_simply_AI I thought the same thing, but then when you look at the number of students who got "0 and above" it is 100. We can assume that that's the total number of students who took the test. So if each category really was separate, then they would all add to 100, but 13 + 36 + 90 exceeds 100. So, for example, looking at the category "10 and above" it is 90 because it also includes the students who got 20 and above etc. Probably 10 students got less than 10/40. Hope I explained that well enough

      @@sahatotti9437 If you look at the data from backwards you will see that there would be 90 students who scored 0 and above. Saw that? Now, rightfully you will have only 10 left who scored between 10 and 100 right? But why is that not the case. It is because the each column is inclusive. So, If you take 20 and above, 36 students scored more than 20 and up-to 40. "Among them", 13 scored more than 30. By counting both the values for 20 and above and 30 and above you are essentially duplicating the values.
