you are correct. I noticed the same. 15,660 females therefore 71,340 males. could be a gotcha! lol so easy to lose focus on the questions. Great tutorial. thank you.

HI. I haven't done proper maths for 30 years and at exec level was horrified to go for a job and do so poorly on verbal reasoning. I got the job but was traumatised by the graphs and percentages. Now faced with an even more senior job and the same test i need practice. Is there any chance you could do a tutorial on this ..please :)

Q20: 100% - 22% = 78%; 0,78 x55000 = 42,900. This way the equasion is based only on the numbers from the question. I think it is much simpler .
Hi, This is another great way of coming to this answer of 42,900. Really good work on using the numbers to come to it. If you do come to the correct answer however you do the question, you will receive the mark for it :)
For Q16, can we calculate it this way? 180 would be 2pm therefore 90 would be 10pm as 180/2=90?
I love the approach you take to explain the answers w/o using calculators.
Do you think that Amazon/Company XXX designing these tests expect applicants to do manually without the support of XL/Calculator?
Question 21 answer is C: 71,340. Misleading for those who practice.

Yeah. The question asks about males, so if 18% out of 87000 are female than there are 15660 females so that leaves us with 71340 males...

I'm no genius but these seem too simple at times.
it is simple, however the questions will be given under little time so it is easy to miss up
At the end of your video, Q21 is the wrong answer as it should have been C and not B...... You are asking for the male figure and not the female figure.

I’ve got an online psychometric test coming up. Do they bother with most of these type of questions when u could just use a calculator?
For most of the questions, I saw the final decimal numbers to solve these questions. Eg. @ 6:16 for question number 6. of I multiply 114 by 0.12 (step 3) equals 1368, hence option D could me the right answer with 0.68. Can apply for most of the cases here.
I have failed math for years and never understood it, but the way your channel explains the steps to get the answer is so easy. So thank you for making these educational vids.

How exactly do you figure that the Answer to question 21 is B ? The quesion asks how many are male, which would be 82% of 87,000. Am I missing something?
The correct answer is 71,340
I suggest at the end of the timer you can put the answers up. It would be helpful

Therefore, (750 * 18) / 100 = 135

It seems that the answer to question 21 is not correct. ... in the question the have 87000 people in the stadium. 18% are female which male are 100%-18% = 82%. If the male are 82% from question, it means that the total number of male will be .82 * 87000 71,340. Or you can say .18*87000 = 15,660, then 87000-15660 = 71340. The answer cannot be 15660 because the question is asking for number of male

In13 it said 1hour behind so we have to subtract 1hour from 11 and add the flight hours so isn't it A
I tried the given method to solve Q 13 but could never get it at all.Would you please explain that as I got it wrong.Please do that.I got the answer as E.Why it is wrong? it doesn't make much sense so pls help me to make sense of it.Thx.
Doesn't the question phrasing in Q10 have multiple interpretations? It's not whether they're asking (60% of 340) Minus 27. Or 60% of (340 Minus 27).
We are applying BODMAS rule here which is first multiply then substract.

Q21, I think is supposed to be C (71340) because the question is asking for Males figure and not female.
Q10 is not clear, first I subtracted 27 from 340 then found the %. I think we need punctuation marks here to clarify

I'm afraid there is a mistake in exercise Number 8, in step 3 you should have multiplied 29 x 0.9 instead of 29 x 9, we are talking about pence (1 pound=100 pence), therefore the real result is 26.1.
If 1pound = 100pence, then 0.9pound = 90pence... Hence 0.09pound = 9 pence... Cool?

I must admit the questions are easy and so are the answers. But why do you complicate so much the reasoning or mathematic equation to get the correct result? Example Q10: 0.6 x 340 - 27 = 177.
With the examples, I try to not over complicate my reasoning for getting the correct answer however, I do try to give the most information possible to get the correct answer. However, as there are other ways of getting to the same answer, you will get the marks if you show the full way of how you get the answer.

Given a mistake was made in q21 may I suggest all answers are checked. I found mistakes in the sister site you own on equations....Like others not hot on maths I need to be able to trust my reasoning is correct. I would suggest future videos have the q and a for each one rather than at the end?
