Definitely respect to the Maxum captain. Fairly small boat, especially for haulover on a rough day but Capt. did the damn thing and kept her dry. Great job
Round 4 was a man with a plan who knew exactly where he was going and probably came back with a bunch of fish.

I was watching that Evinrude waiting for it to stall at any second.
Those old Maxums actually have pretty good hulls - a bit of a deeper vee that most boats of that style. I've driven a couple. They can handle more than you think.

Curious how frequent collisions are in the inlet. Between the waves, the wave-runners, and the general level of human stupidity, I would think they are a daily occurrence.

I say this as a viewer who presently doesn't have a boat... but that NX is NOT an attractive boat.
CC:s are absolutely useless unless it's for fishing.
That last boat should have lost simply because it’s one of the ugliest boats I’ve ever seen.
Can’t stand this guys logic.
The commentating doesn’t really do it for me, maybe works better with an experienced captain doing the talk?
