I think most people would agree that assassins are overwhelmingly better than the templars and this makes me sad. I love the design of the templars and their voice. These big beefy guys with huge great swords with an absolutely sexy voice are really funny to me! Also worth noting is that the templars have a slower attack speed, so even though they deal more damage per hit, the assassins with their much more cheaper and useful upgrades will be more effective (plus insta kill chance!)
The problem with them is that their chance of cheating death should be a lot higher since the assassins have an insta kill ability. Templars are still good but they need their cheat to be more of a cheat
@@DevineFN Templars are mediocre at best. They're like the paladins from the first game but lack high armor, lack healing, and have not one, but two RNG abilities. Not only should the chance for revival be higher but it should also fill their HP bar to max every time. Why they don't already refill it to the max amount, I don't know! Also their abilities are overpriced. That being said I still love them as they have among my favorite voices and voice lines in the series. And if you need pure meat shields for your defense, then the Templars will do just fine!

Assassins only seem to be weak to range if they are visible. They can easily kill a couple of ranged units without babysitting them if it is just ranged as they won't become visible til they are in strike range. You also forgot to mention how assassins can gain extra coins, allowing you to farm a bit more for other towers. A good combination with the pirate and assassins, rake in that gold.
The part I hate the most about Templars is that there is literally an achievement that you have to make a Templar revive several times (but this skill has cooldown making it very difficult), they made me take a month to complete all the achievements in the game. But in my opinion, assasins are better :-

It would have been interesting to compare the upgrade prices of each barrack. What I mean by that is that templars might be decent, or even good... but they are such MONEY PITS
Given that Richard I nearly bankrupted England during the Third Crusade paying for the Templars to fight with him, I'm not surprised at how expensive they'd be in Frontiers...
Templars legit have an upgrade that lets them revive INSTANTLY! Plus armour is to be taken into account. Assassins have light armour. Making them effectively worthless against the third enemy type.
@@twohandedswordsman852 Thay are doing what barracks should do but , that's why they are so week. Every other 4 tier doing something more there then just be more hard to defeat. Like 1,2,3 , Thay more like 3+ tower not 4 like others.

Assasins are just better.Assasins with two Dwarps and Alric can kill Saurian destroyer (The big bad with the whips, 100 damage, and aoe), While templars struggle to do so with Dwarp, Alric, Archer tower in level 4 (the one with crossbows) and Archmage tower. Who needs extra health, dot damage and chance for resurection, when you can geat 150 hp heal, heavy armor and AoE damage from first game
