Day 12 - Daily run of Noita until I complete it

    The Challenge/Goal:
    Basically the challenge is to get one of the endings of Noita. I don't know how long will it take, but I try my best.
    About The Game:
    Noita is a magical action roguelite set in a world where every pixel is physically simulated. In this game, you’ll fight, explore, melt, burn, freeze, and evaporate your way through a procedurally generated world using spells you’ve created yourself. The environment is richly interactive, with pixel-based physics allowing you to burn, explode, or melt anything. Swim in the blood of your foes, manipulate the world, and delve deeper into caverns as you uncover unknown mysteries. Noita is being developed by Nolla Games.

    you can exit the holy mountain without collapsing it which will allow you to edit wands you just found in the level below without progressing using several methods! here's a few I use.
    if you have polymorphine, as you had, you can drink a bit to become a sheep then exit the mountain. it will not collapse, and if you'd want to enter it again, drink some more of the polymorphine before entering and it will not trigger the collapse too. make sure to get over the corner you fly up to without being a human! the trigger is about a square. it's a pretty intuitive shape, I bet someone else here would be able to provide a better description for the trigger's shape.
    in the first shop there were 2 spells which would have allowed you infinite passage from and to holy mountains. long distance cast, which casts the spell after it just a bit in front of you, passing through walls, and teleport bolt. hugging the wall to the right and shooting it through would have allowed you to get through and into the mountain easily.
    unstable or normal teleportatium. drinking or staining yourself in normal teleportatium will teleport you a bit forward in the general direction of your cursor, so you could teleport in and out of the mountain. unstable teleportatium is more useful for just exiting the holy mountain as it teleports you a short distance randomly. you can make unstable tele into normal tele by mixing it with slime. just scoop up a small amount of slime in a flask of unstable tele, mix it up a little, and you are good to go.
    given no other choice such as polymorphine or long distance cast, a single teleport bolt can do just fine. it's a bit tougher though. you need to shoot it through the corner, with the projectile hugging that small slope. make sure your head doesn't touch the imaginary horizontal line starting at the start of the slope and that the teleport bolt doesn't land before the imaginary vertical line at the end of the slope. that's where the trigger is.
    if you have none of these at your disposal; you can actually mine out of the holy mountain through the side or bottom. it's quite simple and many spells can do it. the problem with that is that the gods won't like it and they'll make sure you know that they don't like it

    Spark bolts forever!😂 I know that the format in which you are doing these runs makes you wanna stick to the spells that you aleready know... I'm looking forward to you discovering how amazing some of the spells you already came across are. But everything in its right time. After all, one of the most important things in Noita is patience.
    Oh, and never get too cocky, that's gonna kill you 99 times out of 100.

    nice run
    remember almost all humanoid creatures have a powerful melee attack
    check dmg on spells spark bolt is really low damage compare that with your glowing lance which probably did 10x the dmg

    swamp is almost equivalent to water alchemically. you don't have to replace it with water; although water is nicer looking than it

    I don't want to spoil discovery but man there were some tough to watch wand crafting choices. So much value left on the table.

      Give a advice on what would have been the best choices. Seems like every wand I pick it's always feels so underpowered or hard to target the spell. People are saying you need trigger spells but i can't seem to find them.

      @@Bl4start there are two main sorta archetypes of good early wand: machine gun wands use fast wands and spells with cool down reduction to fire cheap spells rapidly, and slower bigger wands that use trigger spells to cause larger more dangerous effects further from the player. In both cases modifier spells are as important as the actual projectiles. Another utility type wand that is valuable early is a digging wand. Any spell that quickly destroys terrain can help here. You've actually had these a few times but didn't make much use of them.
      Keep an eye out for chainsaw, luminous drill, and reduce recharge time. These are key for machine gun wands.
      Keep an eye out for explosions (ideally in damage types you have immunity too) and trigger spells. These combine to give you a lot of power at range.
      Spell modifies that increase damage are all valuable. Multicasts also help a lot. Play with spell order and modifiers on non-shuffle wands.

      @@Bl4start a bit of luck, but mostly it comes down to picking up more wands on your runs, try to play a bit more defensively and go all the way to the left in the coal pits

    Have you noticed the exact time at which the holy mountain collapses ?
    what would happen if you were to let's say, go faster ?
    by teleporting through a wall perhaps ?
    I mentioned in a previous video that long distance cast (a purple spell you found in the first holy mountain) and a teleport bolt make for one of the most useful combos early game. You should definitely try to cast such a combo to escape a holy mountain just to see what happens !

    I will say again, learn how to use spells with triggers. In a holy mountain between coal mines and snowy depths you had one on a 4th wand. They allow you to deliver something powerful and probably deadly right to the enemy face. Just a regular spells on their own deal too little damage and by the time you get to jungle barely can kill anyone quick enough, even if you shoot 20-30 times a second.
    For example, if you bought that wand between coal mines and snowy depths and took bauble with trigger, in the next holy mountain before hiisi base you cold make a spell, that spawns death cross. Death cross is powerful but deadly as it on it's own spawns on tip of your wand. It has slight homing to enemy, so with trigger you could shoot a wall behind a cover, death cross spawns at that place and flies toward enemy. You could then make this homing better by using teleport homing and short range homing. This setup on it's own actually enough to kill the boss.
    Also I seen a long distance cast and teleport bolt in first holy mountain. You can use them to exit holy mountain and return back latter without collapsing it, or just teleport through walls. As you probably noticed, ceiling collapses when you fly above diagonal wall section at the exit. If you teleport through wall behind statue it will be intact, so you can return here to edit wand latter.

      It seems i'm not recognizing the trigger spells, because i cannot seem to find them. I have seen a couple times and i understand that they are excellent, but I just cannot find one.
