Are you pretty much using sustain pedal through most of it? It's listed as such in the music. You really came upon something here with that left hand crossover and how it, as you say, creates a rippling effect. Just astounding, really. The combined sonorities are so full and rich. Like so much of your music, it just carries me away to a different place, besides the spiritual component.
Hi @KSguitarmusic, thanks so much. I would describe the sustain pedal as generously used, and held down for several measures where the arpeggiated left hand chords are consistent for a stretch and can ring together. There are plenty of times when the sustain pedal is lifted and then held back down, as I was just feeling the sounds of the chords and melodies symbolizing the ocean.
