Awh man. This is actually a little heartbreaking. You can hear the desperation and adoration in the fans voices, they really loved him... And Jose, is really emotional knowing how much he means to them and how much they mean to him. They really built a strong manager/fans relationship, stronger than I've seen for years.

@@asianafrican2023 That's a pretty loaded question. Fans opinion is not the only factor whether a manager is sacked or not, it's often more complicated than that

I am from Rome , it was not Mourinho fault, they gave him miserable players , no chemistry, most new transfers were terrible , flops after flops ,very bad luck only, and the Uefa FFP was dictatorial and ruthless against Roma , the Owners have tons of money to spend but they are forbidden to spend. only free transfers of failed players . De Rossi might be a failure, I hope I'm wrong , my expectations are zero now , very sad!!!
Yeah that's what I heard that he was unable to spend much money because of the FFP sanctions. Very sad to see a genius manager being restricted like that, had he been granted the same transfer budgets as the bigger clubs I've no doubt he'd have won them more trophies. The sad thing is that clubs will see this and think he has failed and you won't see him managing big clubs again, until he proves himself. I think he should go back to Porto and rebuild his reputation. He's a club legend there. I am a United fan and I feel the same about his time at United as you do about his time at Roma. I am very sad about how it ended, he won us 2 trophies in his first season in charge but due to the awful players and terrible ownership he ended up getting the sack, I would not be surprised if those sane players set him up to fail. Wish we had him still, I have a lot more confidence in him than Erik Ten Hag.

@@kacpermodrick2729they were playing in the UCL semi final only a couple years before Jose arrived, and were consistently finishing in the top 4. Mourinho made them worse. He’s been consistently getting sacked for a reason. Man isn’t what he used to be anymore, his tactics are outdated and don’t work anymore. All he does is park the bus, yeah great manager he is.
As a JMFC, I'll follow him to his next club. Already unsubscribed from that club. But many thanks to the AS Roma Fans. May you all have many more successes in the future.

To be honest, Jose overdelivered with his European challenges. The owners expected too much with this shit squad he inherited. And the European challenge cost them with lotsa injuries. Especially this season, his squad is brittle and weak. Realistically, this is a mid table team

He won the Conference League in the first season. He reached the final with Roma last season in the Euro League and now in the third season on the half way they are firing Mourinho to reach what? Daniele de Rossi, though a Roma legend, has almost no coaching experience. How can de Rossi turn the situation around in a couple of months? In my opinion Mourinho deserved to finish his contract as he gave Roma dignity back which they needed desperately.
My question is what is Rossi gonna win? Have you noticed the similarity of his replacements in his last 2 sackings? he initially got replaced by 2 relatively inexperienced managers.
Probably they want to maintain tradition of typical Mourinho's 3rd season...

Simple formula: Keep the Zero 0 in the defense, and score at least 1 more than your opponent. He will be measured by results immediately and not by a beautiful game or style. There is no time for experiments, even for legends.

No matter what you think of Mourinho he is the manager you want in a cup final. Look at his European cup record, 5 wins out of 6 finals and the last final in which he lost the ref made some terrible calls, he should have won it. Anyway, some teams just don't want to be successful I guess.

I am not surprised Roma got beat by Milan. Milan is looking like a proper competitive club now. Roma is always looking lost struggling to keep up with the top 4 and being a big fish.
