@@aarondennis3311 no, as a musician in band myself, (STEOTW MIX) means they had it mixed/mastered like the rest of the album so it didn’t sound out of place compared to the rest of the album. it had a completely different mix as a single.
@dallonillicitut yeah its just updated, it still sounds the same having listened to it religiously when it dropped way before this album ever came out
@@aarondennis3311 they would of put (visual update) not (STEOTW MIX) and there is a difference between them, sorry you can’t hear it!
@dallonillicitut I can definitely hear that the lyrics are the same and that it's just in theme with the album, the visuals are different because there is more to see as compared to the original

This song already means so much to me. It's helped me mentally more than the band probably knows, and this mix just made it even better! I love the subtle differences from the original mix, but most of all, I love the way the vocals seem to be a little more in front and louder. Ricky's vocals have always held a special place in my heart, and hearing him even louder than normal is just angelic.

@@TheIronChainMaster they were mixed by 2 different people. The original version of the song was mixed by Jeff Dunne who has also done work for WCAR, INK, and Wage War. This version is mixed by Zakk Cervini, who has done work for way too many bands to count. This mix has a drastically different drum sound and vocal mix among everything else being different.
Correction: the original version of the song was mixed by Justin deBlieck, not Jeff Dunne. I assumed it was Jeff Dunne since he mixed Disguise and the mix sounded somewhat similar to his work.
THE VOCALS OMG
This version is better than the original. Hits harder when it needs to, and as others have stated, Ricky's vocals provide a clean, harmonious contrast.

my biggest disappointment with STEOTW was that this song wasn't on it because its such a banger!
Crystal clear compared to the original. Sounds 3D, with much more dynamic range, and spatial presence. I need to learn to mix like this! If you cant tell, you need new headphones, or a better home theater.

Re-listening to Timebomb has made me realize how meaningful this song is, as all motionless songs are but relating to the lyrics really strongly right now. Wanting to be a better person and be grateful of the things I’ve done and accomplished. It’s so hard to feel good about yourself and what you’ve achieved with a world that’s bearing down on us so hard. With all the things that happen in life that bring us down.
