I think one chooses Vanilla start (assuming one wants that) via Alternative start so you can let all your mods load for some minutes before hand. Otherwise the heavily scripted wagon ride may crash with a large mod list also initializing.
LAL is so useful for build testing.
I recommend killable children. It makes them pickpocketable with custom inventories too. One, it’s immersive. Two, Braith.

The top mod has adult components - if that’s not your thing (it’s not really mine), they have a clean version on the site as well.

The intro to immersive armors was legit.
The vanilla intro in alternate start is still useful for setting up your mcm configs and let any heavy scripted mods to initialize before starting the intro, so scrpit lag doesn't mess with it.

Forget what mod it is but I have bunch of flora and terrain mods and in my game it changes seasons which will effect the colors of the trees, light wind/stronger wings, snow, rain, etc… it’s really cool

Even though you don’t know why you did that edit I gotta say it really got me wantin to play Skyrim again for the 1000th time
i really like immersive citizens, but if you like to customize all the NPCs because you can't stand how the vanilla ones look, there's a good chance that if there's no patch for compatibility you'll have brown face characters. I once forgot to patch it with realistic children mod, and they all ended with brown face and no clothes, It freaked me out when i went into the orphanage lol.
Use easy npc. It's awsome.

Someone should upload a Steam file of Skyrim with all the mods attached so people can download and paste right into their steam library so it's all set up without having to wonder if it will work or not.

Apparently some of these mods come preinstalled with skyrim now. I downloaded it yesterday for the first time, and my map was exactly like the one with A quality world map. (I downloaded the ps plus version on ps4)

So I just did my first mod ever on Skyrim (SkyUI), so I don't know hardly anything... But I was able to continue with my save after using it. It did wipe the old saves out of the same play through, but my "Continue" save is where I continued.
If I add some of these mods you discussed, will I have to start a new playthrough?

What armor mod your character wearing at the beginning ?
quick question, how compatible is the immersive armor pack? i have various standalone armor mods, most noticable is Xavbio's Retexture armors
About as compatible as it gets, shouldn't be an issue, it just adds new armors
