  • Johnny Depp appeared to smile and chuckle as Alejandro Romero, who manages a building owned by Depp where the actor lived with ex-wife Amber Heard, testified about his interactions with Heard and other people at the apartment building. Romero, who complained about wanting to be done with this case, told the jury he saw no bruises on Amber Heard.

I think it was really important that Camille pointed out to the Jury and the rest of the world that this man has a job and isn't part of the Hollywood Circus. She managed to give his testimony the credibility it deserved. This is an honest man doing an honest day's work and they should be grateful he's providing testimony about this so many years later. @kittygoesWOOF Před 2 lety +15

Seriously. I liked him as an actor before but didn't necessarily care about him as a person (like with most celebrities). This trial is definitely changing that. Even Jason Mamoa now following Johnny Depp as of a few+ days ago was very telling. Johnny's testimony about why he's pursuing this trial- talking about his career was gone the moment Heard made allegations and he's not actively trying to get back into acting; he's doing this for his children. This could bankrupt him if he loses and all this man cares about is making things better for his children.
Amber sues for money and fame. I didn't know I could lose so much respect for someone I barely know of. She's already lost, at least in the court of public opinion.

"Were you looking for bruises?" is a preposterous question. No one goes around inspecting everyone's faces for damage. His testimony is that nothing like that appeared on her face and he was looking her in the eye at three feet away. You can't twist that into an inability to identify a swollen, marked up face. The Witness could have responded, "Are you looking for bruises on my face right now?" If someone asked you later if you saw any, would you say, "I have no idea because I wasn't looking for them, and I only see things that I am looking for?"

This guy was completely genuine with everything he said and did throughout his testimony. He’s an absolute delight to hear among the witnesses, and was super cool of him to appear in court in any way he could.
I swore off even talking about anything Johnny Depp immediately because I was so torn up about the allegations possibly being real. I’m so regretful I didn’t remain even a little sceptical. Seeing this guy bring a smile to Johnny’s face sets my heart a bit at ease after everything he’s been through.

To my understanding the sufex (ery) refers to the actions of the nincompoop, do you concur? Do you at any time during your statement remember referring to The Offspring of a Moron and a Nimrod being a nincompoop? To your recollection do you remember seeing a swelling on any area of the, and I reiterate any area of the Nimrod? "Objection, relevancy"? "Overruled, I will allow the question".!.!

    • @insidetheunicorn
      @insidetheunicorn Před 2 lety +26

@@ganiniii Hi ganinii! Just some friendly grammar advice. "It didn't go her way" would be the correct way to say that, as the "did" of "didn't" already implied past tense, and while "went" is indeed the past tense of "to go", in English we don't double past tenses with verbs, and many verbs receive their tense from auxiliary words such as "did, is, will"(positive) or "didn't, isn't, or won't"(negative). All verbs receive future tense this way.
      Negative:
[Past] "It didn't go her way."
[Present] "It isn't going her way."
[Future] "It won't go her way."
      Positive:
[Past] "It did go her way." or "It went her way."
[Present] "It's going her way." or "It goes her way."
[Future] "It will go her way."
English is complicated, and "to go" is a rather complicated verb. It can be used as an intransitive verb["Will you go crazy?"], a transitive verb["Will you go?"], a phrasal verb["How will you go about this?"], and even an adjective["All systems are go"].
It can get even more complicated, but I should probably stop given this is just a random youtube comment on the Heard-Depp trial.

He responds "I saw red stains, but I'm not calling them wine stains ... I'm not an expert." He owned her soul right there. She tried catching him up and getting him to admit they were wine stains and he wasn't having it. Most people just would've acknowledged in the affirmative, but not him. He knew what she was doing and wasn't going to allow it. Props to him.
