Yes. I'm proud of this culture. Thanks for this initiative especially for generation coming after. I would be good if we can have documentation of our tradition and culture. Let's make our culture popular, celebrate it and make people to love it as well.

Idomas are from Enugu state na.

@@terrenceeva6930 Idoma's are not from Enugu state, Enugu state never existed until 1991, Benue was functional as part of the initial 3 regions created by the British. Idoma people are part of the old Kwarafara kingdom which was the strongest because it consisted of most of the modern ethnic groups found in Nigeria today. Again Idomas are not from ENUGU, Because Idoma people are quiet and choose a life that is more peaceful doesn't make them forget their history. We are not Igbo's but the same time we love our igbo brothers, until we understand that ethnicity claims is our problem in this country and not tribal then we are ready for a new Nigeria. When you witness the argument between Ijebu igbo and other Ijebu you will come to understand that ethnic border line is killing us. In contest because of the subtle nature of the idomas foreigners come in to take our land E.G Tvs and Jukuns and are not Benue blood but rather Taraba state more into the north, But our welcoming nature as led us to too much encroachment. Kogi that was cut out from Benue state claim a very big portion of the land in some areas.

Been wanting to ask please,,why is it that most of the elderly men that plays fluit for this royal drum don't always see well or seems to be blind??
Is it part of our culture or what exactly??
I am from IGA OKPAYA under APA and the formal elder that plays this fluit for us during festival is of same condition and he wears eyeglass always as he's been led by someone holding his hands....
Someone talk to me please 🙏
