CHOCOLATE CARAMEL TWIX RICE CRISPY CAKES
INGREDIENTS
3 tablespoons unsalted butter
10 ounces (roughly 4 cups) mini marshmallows
1/2 cup caramel sauce (homemade or store bought)
6 cups cocoa rice crispy cereal
12 fun-sized Twix bars, chopped into pieces (roughly 1 1/4 cup)
Line a 9x9 pan with parchment paper.
In a large pot, melt the butter. Add the marshmallows and stir with a wooden spoon until completely melted.
Stir in the caramel sauce until smooth then add the cereal and Twix bars. Mix everything together until everything is coated.
Very carefully, pat the mixture into the pan (I like to use plastic wrap to help press down and not burn my hands). Cool completely before cutting into squares, roughly 30-60 minutes. Store in an airtight container for up to one week.
CUSTARD RECIPE (If you wish to make your own for the crumble then give this a go)
1 Vanilla Pod
600ml Whole Milk
4 Large Egg Yolks
1 tbsp Caster Sugar
1 tbsp Cornflour
Add the milk and vanilla to a pan and bring to a boil and remove from the heat
Whisk the egg yolks, sugar and cornflour until pale in a separate bowl
Add the warm milk a little at a time to the egg mixture, whisking all the time
Put back into the pan on a low heat and whisk until thickened

Just bought the 15 in 1 yesterday and was searching for some tips and help. I’ve only watched 3 of your videos so far and I’m so happy I discovered you. Very inspiring and you make things so easy to follow. Thankyou!
That’s great that I’m helping. I hope you love it… it takes a bit of getting use to but once you follow a few recipes you’ll get the confidence to experiment. Thanks for watching x
thankyou for this video, i have recently got my 15in1 and would like to see more recipes to use in it . the berry pudding is inspirational i would never have thought to put custard into the air fryer,, please give us some more
Thanks for watching. All my videos going forward will be ones using the Ninja 15 in 1. I have lots of ideas!!
The more I watch your channel the more I discover what an excellent chef/cook you are, excellent skills and knowledge, yours is now my go to channel for ideas.❤
wow thank you! I love cooking so much, nothing fancy just family food
@@susannahskitchenWe just purchased a Ninja 15-in-1 and have been watching Bultersempire, but what we wanted was the basic ideas and functions to be covered, and you've done that perfectly. Family food is what we wanted and you've given us some great ideas already and shall be cooking them this coming week, especially the crumble. Your very professional in both cooking, presentation and video quality and editing, some of the best I've seen. Well done from us. I think I detect an Essex like accent, we come from Nazeing in Essex, but now living in bath.
Oh, and I've just realised like '(Air Fry, Steam, Bake)' you list the cooking functions used in your titles, what a brilliant idea.
ha ha you are spot on! Essex gal! I really appreciate your kind comments. I hope my channel will continue to grow as I love cooking so much and I'm excited for all the new content@@G6EJD
I love learning from you. TKS

Thank you for another great video! And....my compliments for your beautifull "Norwegian" house.
Pre stands for preheat, love your videos.
Nice to find someone in England so I can understand the terminology better. Thank you. Thinking of buying one. Great channel ❤
Thanks for watching
Love love it😍😍😍😍😍 2 ol queens here with a 15 in 1 and a mega zone, just didnt know what to do with them🤫🤫 kept going back to the oven, BUT!!!!!!!!!!! you have honestly changed our whole "what the hell shall we have for dinner" conversation every morning🤣🤣🤣🤣 wow, thankyou so much for what you do and have done to our cooking/eating conversations.....and buying habits👋👋👋👋👋 love what you do...... and keep going 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰 roasties and chicken have never tasted better. One thing........ i just cant get used to the megazone...though we needed it? and i sort of think we do, but 15 in 1 is certainly the winner here x x x

Cheers hunni😍@@susannahskitchen
Thank you for your video ❤❤❤❤
Thanks for watching. Episode 2 is out now an episode 3 will be out next week
Love your accent and recipes! thank you for sharing this! regards from Mexico
Wow, I've reached so far away!! Thank for watching my videos. Do you have the Ninja 15 in 1 or a different version?
@@susannahskitchen I'm planning to give the OL601 to my mother on Christmas, and I'm learning how to use it because she will ask a lot of questions 😂 lol
@@santiagomunoz8377 I think we all have a lot of questions!!!
Was off work today so I mad the the sausage rolls for lunch and the roast chicken for dinner. OMFG! the sausage rolls where amazing but the chicken was off the scale. I'm a single dad and use my 15 in 1 every day for the last 18 months. I use the pressure cooker mode all the time and the airfrier mode for sausage, bacon etc. but the steam air fry takes thing to another place. Thank you soo much for this vid, you've made a new subscriber.
So glad you are enjoying my recipes and thanks for Subscribing 😀
I just bought my Ninja 15 in 1, 3 days ago, I am loving your videos and recipes. 💕
Hi, welcome to the club!!! Thanks for watching and glad you are enjoying them. Making a Chinese noodle steam meal as we speak which will be on the channel soon. Happy cooking
Literally just made your popcorn chicken. Slight modification (didn't use cornflour) used seasoned plain flour. Such a quick & tasty treat. I don't have any allergies but love your recipes. I also used my 15 in 1.
That’s really good…. In our household it’s only me that’s gluten free and I make these for my son. Glad you liked them. A quick way rather than flour, egg, breadcrumb - sometimes this is needed but occasionally a fast recipe is required
Got to try those popcorn chickens! :D
😂
Are your temps in Celsius?. I love your videos ty very mucg
Hi, yes they are. Thanks so much. Appreciate you watching
Hello, please can you tell me how to use keep warm function for making biryani?
Some functions will automatically go onto Keep Warm at the end but if you want to activate it yourself you can...
Select SLOW COOK, use the left had selector to move from High, Low to BUFFET - This works as keep warm and will keep the food at a safe temperature for up t 12 hours. It does not keep it hot but it remains warm
I’m new to the channel but I hope Willow is doing well 😀
@@michaelasbury5473 Hi. she’s a lovely cat. Very Miss Independent but when it suits her she is very affectionate.!
Steam airfryed roasties work perfectly without pre blanching. I put them in a sandwich bag with lots of salt and olive oil/ butter and rosemary with a bit of flour. Mix well. Then add to crisper basket in ninja and steam air fry 20 minutes. Done.
Love steam air fry. I’ve been using this a lot recently x
Thank you for your videos! May I ask why you don't use the temperature probe when cooking chicken?...
Hi, you definitely can, I’ve just found that Steam Air Fry for 55 minutes works perfectly so I haven’t been using the probe. It’s a good question though as I’ve used it in pork, steak, gammon etc. Maybe next time I should just to ensure it doesn’t overcook.
@@susannahskitchen Thank you! We just got ours delivered yesterday, roast chicken today. 🤞
@@trockodile I’d recommend steam air fry rather than steam roast - that’s just my experience anyway. Jealous - I love roast chicken 😋
Just a question I have baked cakes in my ninja foodi 11 in 1 on steam bake but they are coming out brown on top but not on the rest of the cake still cooked and tast amazing but just the look of them
I do find cakes colour quickly in the Ninja. Try covering with foil part way through the bake to stop it getting so dark. The same as you would in the oven
hi when you cooked the whole chicken how much water did you add to the bottom, thank you
When I steam air fry my chicken I add 125ml of water/stock and the juice of 2 lemons
Thankyou, loving your videos btw x
@@traceytones9734 thanks so much
How do i make potato vegebles and Meat at the same time?
Hi, the easiest way is to use STEAM MEALS - there is a guide in the book. Potatoes in the bottom with the liquid, vegetables wrapped in foil in the middle and meat on the top. You can use the probe to get the meat cooked just right and can still continue cooking the veg and potatoes if needed.
@@susannahskitchen Thank you from Holland
I might omit the twix being gluten free
Hi, a few things I make just for my husband and son so you are right to spot that. The majority of my main meals are all gluten free. You can always message if you are unsure. Generally there is an easy swap or alternative anyway.
@@susannahskitchen u never get cross contaminated?
I'm not coeliac but if i eat the smallest piece of food containing gluten I am very ill. Headache, vomiting, diarrhoea, the worst stomach pain imaginable and it can last for several days. The I cook and prepare at home I have not experienced any issues. I realise it is different being Coeliac. Most of the food I make is Gluten Free, when I was baking the other day though with regular flour I got a rash up my arms and wondered if this was the cause@@leetori1
@@susannahskitchen I’m not sure about the rash. I don’t suffer with dermatitis from ingesting gluten but the tiniest x contamination makes me ill. Fatigue, cramps, constipation, bleeding and unwell for up to 5 days
