Wish Disney would release the whole series on Blu-Ray or DVD. I only have this segment here on my copy of Cinderella Diamond Edition Blu-Ray from a few years ago.
There is a 2nd portion to this episode (shown after the "Ipana Toothpaste" commercial) where Helene Stanley dances with the Mouseketeers to music from "Davy Crockett" and "Sleeping Beauty" (Bobby Burgess gets the honor of being Helene's dance partner). It's great seeing 1st season Mouseketeer Mary Espinosa get a featured part in this episode.
I also remembered that this person was the model for both Cinderella, Fantasia and Sleeping Beauty. I meant from the movie Fantasia the piece of music Dance of the Hours.
@noland628 I am 11 years old. I am quite mature for my age some say my looks pass of for a 14 year old and my personality passes for a 20 year old. I hate the shows on tv. All action nothing classic. Nothing with meaning. && Nothing that would last a life time.
Disney needs to release all the seasons of the original series on DVD.
I know I'm three years late to respond to your comment but they have the first season of The Mickey Mouse Club available to stream on DisneyPlus.
@@ervdyt Really? Wait what country do you live in?
@@Thomas_H._Smith The United States!
@@ervdyt huh. Interesting. I live in Canada and it's not on there. Weird. Maybe someday.
@@ervdyt the first week (10-3-1955 thru 10-7-1955) of it to be exact.
Fun Fact: She also was the reference for Aurora. Also Lady Tremaine and Maleficent were both voiced by, and modeled after Eleanor Audley.
She was the live action model not her singing voice.

Cinderella is one of the Princesses of Heart in Kingdom Hearts
She sure is!😊
Fun Fact: She was also the reference for Aurora, Anita, and Anastasia
Anastasia (the stepsister from Cinderella)
@@TheStOne1 yeah. I feel like it's pretty obvious I don't mean the 1997 one.
your right ilene woods is the singing voice this is wrong! this lady was just the live action model hence why she seems exactly like cinderella
is she wearing the tattered pink gown? I want to make that for a cosplay!
She had a major part in Perry Mason episode "Case of the Foot-Loose Doll." She only lived to age 61.
This was from a 1956 "Guest Star Day" segment....
I remember this program and it's on Disney plus. But I remember both movies.
Adorable 😍
Interesting how they improvised using trumpets to make it seem like the stepsisters are shouting for Cinderella.

0:50 Did she just describe Motion capture animation??
Well no she described live action reference animation.
She described rotoscoping
Oh my gosh she is Polly from Davy Crockett. She looks much different in Technicolor.
Que linda!
What DVD did you get this from?
Throwback the platinum edition of Cinderella.
this was Guest Star Day
oh! I didn't know that : )
1:52 my favorite part
What year was this?
This is Frances' son typing, but I always fantasized about Helene being my next door neighbor and being attracted to me. She is soooo cute!
she died December 27 1990, cause of her death is unknown
i'd go and meet her after one minute ...hehe
I think she was of Mexican/Filipino descent.
The original Cinderella broadway is Julie Andrews
we are talking about Disney's version from 1950. Roger and Hammerstien's Cinderella with Julie Andrews came out 7 years latter
oh they really shake their hands like that for a bye
"don't dance too much!"
Proksova
She was married to Johnny Stompanato
Ilene Woods was Cinderella's speaking voice, BUT it was Helene Stanley who was Cinderella's singing voice!
Nope, Ilene did both. Helene was just the actress they used for their animation drawing.
I think she's hispanic, she nearly pulls off an american accent but there's still a hint of an accent
This is really weird

You're going to read this and cringe now that you're 20.
