    Well done! I love it! Great content as always❤️ The pressure of being better than good (amazing) for high-end clientele. The goal is always to be better than good for everyone but I definitely understand that additional pressure (I’m glad you shared that b/c it’s real).

    Ok thanks for continuing to do these! I noticed that you always seem to do a mock setup beforehand. Is that because these parties at people's homes usually don't allow for much setup time? How much setup time do you usually have? Also, do you require an area with a certain amt of space for your parties or just make it work with whatever space they have? And lastly, how don't you freak out when a package is late or messed up? Or did you do that behind the scenes lol? Thank you so much for all the guidance! It's so helpful

      Glad you enjoyed! 💕 Yes, I do always do a mock up. Really I don’t have to because I can envision in my head (we have a fairly simple setup) but I’m just a perfectionist and highly visual so I take the time to do it to satisfy my anxiety about it. It would actually save me a lot of prep time if I didn’t 🤦🏽‍♀️...Also yes we arrive about 2 hours ahead of time to set up so I make sure every single thing is done the day before to fit into that time frame. Because I pay my party helpers, so more setup time there equal more labor costs for me and it keeps the business more profitable to not be there so long. I suggest an amount of the space if they ask, but often I work with whatever is available!
      I just didn’t freak out this time 😉 Because the late package was for an extra add on I was going to put up. Now, if it was for Plan A I would have been more stressed. But also my husband has been helping me over the years keep a level head in these type of situations (I was bad before). We just come up with a Plan B now and I have to work with what’s available, freaking out really just wastes time and throws you off your game 😂

    Do you have a full time job or this is your main job? I'm asking because I don't know if I can manage event styling whilst working and being a wife and mom too!! I just started my event styling Business.

    Hi! I love your work! I really resonate with your content and you answer so many of my questions!
    I do have a question for you. Do you buy decor inventory when you find good sales? Or wait until you have a party to shop for?
    I feel like I’m just starting off and I buy things for future parties that I have not booked yet and end up with a lot of stuff. I’m grateful that I have it when I do need it but I feel like it’s an excuse for me wanting to shop all the time LOL . Not that I’m a shopaholic, I’m very frugal. Just wondered how you did it.

      Hello,
      Event execution and staying on schedule is the biggest! Making sure all vendors arrive on time, managing staff, and completing the vision you and the client have for the day according to the design plan. 😊

    How has your business been holding up with covid? Are clients still booking for parties and what changes have you had to apply due to the "new norm"? Hope you and the fam are your staying safe😊

      Hey!! So in 2020 I had to shut down. My particular services encompassed everything that was basically against covid rules, we work with multiple children from multiple households inside the home, using many shared products (paints, bracelet beads, etc.), and we also do some beauty services; so I just wasn’t going to chance it in the pandemic. Plus, they sent both my children home for a year so I had to slow down anyways. All my clients cancelled or postponed to this year. We’re getting into more rentals and decor only parties, which has been the plan for awhile anyways to transition, so the pandemic was kind of the perfect gateway. It’s picking back up this month actually since the lockdown finally was lifted these past weeks, so we’ll see how this year turns out! Basically the new norm is more rentals, “contactless parties”, and online work....and trying to increase my productivity with the kids still home. 💕

      Hello, in this particular video they booked a pre-set package. Most of the decorations I had already so I didn’t need to purchase much. That’s how these packages use to be super profitable for me.
      My clients don’t keep any decorations unless it has their name on it or is very unique and I don’t think I can reuse. That’s how you build inventory. Most clients I work with don’t even want to keep anything because they know they’re not interested in storing party decor in their home.

      Usually I just offer it as a “rental” for use during the party, but if a child leaves with one here or there it’s not that big of a deal to me. 💕
