Only commenting because you’re the first comment I saw. This is to msmojo: it’s very telling when your distribution is only YT women. Also you have not enough of women of color when they have been mostly responsible for all the trends. The biggest of all no pun intended is the very accessory every girl wants now even Becky and her mama Karen which is a big phat a$$ YT girls used to make fun of woc for having them fat shamed us and made fun of us all while they had eating disorders and distorted way of seeing the body. Super stick thin look now all of a sudden they want to a butt. They wear butt pads, get surgery etc or just do anything to show their butts so yeah..
Literally every trend is started or becomes popular because of a celebrity. Us mere mortals idolise celebrities and want to become them in any way possible, whether that would have been Anne Boleyn wearing French style head coverings in court to Kim Kardashian wearing something on a red carpet.
Damn back when the french girl wan't an aesthetic tho- they were like the cool chicks, now its more of a french wannabe 😐

I don’t idolize celebrities and didn’t follow any of their fashions. I was forced by the school dress code to wear those horrible above the knee dresses which I hated. Now I wear shorts, pants and capris. No above the knee dresses for me!
