Marlene Dietrich deserved a place on this list as well.
She could have easily replaced Beyonce. A lifetime of big hair, sequins, and booty shorts aren't all that impressive to me. Or if they were really in want of another woman of color Diana Ross, Grace Jones, Michelle Obama, Whitney Houston, etc.
Marilyn Monroe and Grace Kelly were effortlessly gorgeous, it's sad that they ended up dying at relatively young ages.
Kelly wasn't quite young, but Marilyn Monroe on the other hand now that's a different story.

Lena Horne the classic 1930s and 1940s Hollywood styles were so glamorous. Ginger Rogers and Rita Hayworth were deserving of a spot too.

Any most glamorous ''of all time'' list that includes Zendaya, Beyonce, Rihanna and JLo but excludes the likes of Rita Hayworth, Katharine Hepburn, Lauren Bacall, Ingrid Bergman, Billie Holiday, Marlene Dietrich, Gary Cooper, Greta Garbo, Maggie Smith, Deborah Kerr, Natalie Wood, Doris Day, Sidney Poitier, Ava Gardner, Anne Baxter, Cicely Tyson, Dorothy Dandridge, Helen Mirren, Fred Astaire, Gregory Peck, Paul Newman, Robert Redford, Josephine Baker, Vivien Leigh, Catherine Deneuve, Fanny Ardant, Ian McKellen, Natalie Baye, etc, etc, etc is not to be taken seriously. They are or were glamorous. And classy. And remembered to this day.

I think you missed the assignment with some of your choices. Glamour and class was the criteria. Two of your choices were not and in no way a true representation of glamour and class.

Glamour and class mean a feminine women who doesn't have to curse, be vulgar or have an attitude. Not sexual but sensual. She doesn't walk, she glides across the carpet. Grace and poise.

Audrey Hepburn is definitely my favourite style icon, though sadly, her slight frame was as a result of childhood malnutrition, during World War II in Holland. She developed anaemia as a result, and had trouble carrying a pregnancy to full term, though she did have two children.

And yes, she initially planned to be a ballerina but was rejected due to her malnourished figure. It was that rejection that caused her to shift her focus on acting and the rest is history.

This list is an odd one. I get that you're trying to be inclusive, but Beyonce is not really glamorous. She's very pretty and I love her, but glamorous is Diana Ross. Famously so. Halle Berry too.
Zendaya is already iconic. Nice to see her in the honourable mentions. She is the Muse of our time.

If you're going back as far as Anna Mae Wong and Lena Horne, how can you leave out the great women of the 30s and 40s films renowned for their glamor? Dietrich, Carole Lombard, Rita Hayworth, Joan Crawford, LANA TURNER, Dolores Del Rio and even further back, Gloria Swanson. Swanson was a fashion and glamor icon.
Cary Grant belongs as much as anyone on the list. George Clooney just resembles him a bit. I would replace him with Valentino or Robert Redford. Redford really played into his glamor boy image.
Elizabeth Taylor was tacky, but of course she was a beauty when young and led a glamorous life.
Grace Kelly, Audrey, Cary Grant and Marilyn are the must haves. But a list like this can't leave out the great glamor stars of the 30s and 40s. Peak era for it, really. Furs, jewels and gowns.

A very good list; obviously when you are picking ten celebrities out of the hundreds of possibilities there will be disagreement. However, I am disappointed that you chose to mention Liz Taylor's perfume line instead of her very important work on AIDS. During a time when people still treated AIDS victims like lepers and blamed the sin of homosexuality for the AIDS crisis, Liz Taylor worked tirelessly to promote compassion and advocate for more funds for research. That is a much more important legacy than a perfume line.

There are probably thousands of celebrities who fit the definition of glamorous, which is defined as "someone who is attractive in a way that excites". That's such a subjective thing, which is why it's impossible to create a list that every viewer agrees with. This means that this list is based upon the opinion(s) of whomever's job it was to create this particular list, and you don't have to agree with, or like, anyone on this list. I am curious as to why you're so pissed over a simple piece of fluff entertainment though.
I agree with the original comment. For me it doesn't have to do anything with color. Lupita Nyongo or Naomi Campbell would definitely fit the bill. Beyonce is sexy, but not the definition of classy imo

I think in this list, there is confusion between sex appeal and glamor. In my opinion, Elizabeth Taylor should be number one. Grace Kelly was one of the most glamorous women ever. There are a number of women from the golden age who were excluded.

I don’t think I would’ve put of Zendaya in that list, she dosen’t speak beauty or GLAM like at all, there is a difference between glamourous and just being pretty, so I don’t see that in Zendaya to be honest, but i would have to agree with Marilyn Monroe, Elizabeth Taylor and Audrey Hepburn i do 100% agree that she is number one.
Some people say I do look like her cause of the big brown eyes and thick eyebrows as well, i get Audrey Hepburn, Judy Garland, sometimes Anne Hathaway and sometimes Lily Collins, but it’s definitely out of Audrey Hepburn, Judy Garland and Anne Hathaway for me, and as a brunette myself I really appreciate it. 🥰
