would this work for an all over color change on an apple watch band? I want to change the color and paint a pattern on
Yes. We recommend that you spray paint using air brush. For spray painting, you will need to add solvent 300%
In the other video they have, they add solvent to the mixture, but in this video no ... how does it change whether the solvent is added or not?
Also, adding the solvent, removes bubbles from the mixed ink and quickens the drying time
How long do you let it sit before you wipe with the lent free wipe?
You can wipe it right away or wait a couple of hours to do it. But make sure you wipe it before the ink solidifies. Best it within 3 hours
If I never use the heat gun to dry it, will it dry by itself? If yes, approx how long?
It will eventually dry but itself... but ideally use a heat gun or a heat source to accelerate cure
Hi Jayson, Can you do a video using the black silicone ink? It always takes me longer to clean off excess than the other colors. A lot of smearing.
Hello @chirs lang, we will do it in a week or so...
@@jaysonfrench8924 can y’all still do this? Been a long time lol
@@BigRed804 we are finalizing the video... give us a day or so...

Hey were you able to figure it out?
Can you use a stencil on a silicone watch band with this ink?
Yes you can
will the ink be permanent even without engraving first?
Yes, it will be.
How long does it need to cure after you've used a heat gun for 2-4 minutes to dry it?
Yes.

Using your ink but it puffs up when I dry it! Am I doing something wrong? How do I correct it?
The puff is caused by air bubbles. To fix this, you can let the filled product sit for about an hour before drying them. Alternatively, you can use a degassing chamber to remove gas from the inks. The third option is to fill the inks later in the evening and let them sit for overnight then dry them. Hopefully this helps
@@jaysonfrench8924 thanks for the response! I’ll give it a try!

Would this work on pvc material too?
This will work only on silicone. PVC, you need a PVC ink such the TP Series pad printing inks: www.bostonindustrialsolutions.com/tp-series-pad-printing-ink/
@@jaysonfrench8924 Great! Thank you for the recommendation
Can you add color to the ink or do you have to order the colors?
If you add color, that would destroy the ink potency. If you need to make custom colors, you can intermix any siliart colors to create new shades of color
@@jaysonfrench8924 so I can mix Siliarts ink in it?
@@DRob70 yes. You can mix two or three or four or even 5 colors to make new shades. All colors are inter-mixable. There is no limit to how many colors you can mix together
