Hey, is it feasible to be able to PRODUCE enough energy via solar to POWER an entire rv unit with THIS SYSTEM? I hear a lot of talk about draw and utility, but I'm DYING to know if real boondocking is possible to do with a total solar package???? Hellooooooo. Oh and btw i know this is recreational... but practicality?
We have had the MasterVolt system in our 2022 Rockwood Mini Lite that we picked up in May. This system absolutely lets us camp off the grid with now the biggest limitation being holding tanks, quite frankly.
It has absolutely changed how we plan our camping adventures since power isn't really an issue any more.
Thanks Tony and Peggy. Can you ask the Mastervolt people if their battery monitor stays at 100% once the battery goes into float and the coach is on shore power continually. My Victron system has the battery monitor SOC going slowly down over time while on shore power. It's the fault of the Multiplus Compact inverter/charger. I want to know if the Mastervolt inverter charger suffers from the same issue. Thanks!
