Hope you did some control tests to see recovery rate. Looks concerning that the mat is just laying on the bottom when the flow rate is so high. I would imagine a lot of the gold, especially the fine stuff, is just blowing over the mat and out the back. Would be cool to see with a hose attached going to a real sluice.
Interesting product. I could see where something like this could fill a void in the market. Do you make these on demand or do you have a quite a few in stock?
I bet you could, i purchased one but haven't used it yet..... I was thinking of using a milk create with foam so I can snip middle of river, cord is pretty long
+bigred74699 Sorry that unit sold the same day. I should have some more listed by Monday or Tuesday at the latest. You can search under Goldsnare or my ebay page is www.ebay.com/sch/timberdoodle28/m.html?_nkw=&_armrs=1&_ipg=&_from=
GoldsnareSGS could you tell how much would be lost over a 100' length. I realise that the gauge is different but there would still be a loss of power (volts/amps) thank you. And thanke for the upload, I appreciate it, and realise that it's not a half hour job.
Looking forward to buying these in Europe. If you have no intention of selling in the EU, maybe you can point me to ashop that does sell this kind of gold dredges
You have not proved to us that this device can capture gold. Or black sand for that matter. This vid is costing you customers. Do it again at a place that has black sand and gold. I want one but you have to prove to me I'm not going to loose gold.
It will probably be a while before I make another video, but in the meantime here is a link to Dennis Dayton's video showing gold and black sand collection from a demo I was doing at Gold Rush days. czcams.com/video/nm6_BCjTFm4/video.html
Agreed. That's why I prospect in the Feather & American river regions. LOADED with black sand, and my Tesoro Lobo St works it beautifully. I'm usingba homeade hand-pump dredge 28" long into a food grade 5 gal. Bocket with a lid w/pour spout. It gets it pretty darn good. I may have to patent it.
Great video Rob! Very good instructions on how to set up and use!
Ordered the sgs-1
Shipped fast, build is solid, put it to the test and yes it captured the gold, quite happy with it
Good job thumbs up
mk3ferret Where did you order it from and how much did it cost?

Isn’t that a million dollar idea tho make the 12v dredges that can clip too a sluice save us some time building them
I'm finding a good suction stick is much more productive. I do like idea as far as making a larger one to go straight in a bucket
An underwater shot would have been great but I'm only a little way in. Maybe you did one that I haven't seen yet. Thank you for your efforts.
is it possible to put this item in Amazon? i need one please but ot from ebay
Do you ship to Canada? If so then how much and where can I order it?
Interesting product. I could see where something like this could fill a void in the market. Do you make these on demand or do you have a quite a few in stock?
Would it be possible to mount the battery on some sort of backpack so you dont have to worry about your cord?
I bet you could, i purchased one but haven't used it yet..... I was thinking of using a milk create with foam so I can snip middle of river, cord is pretty long
i like it cheers
Greetings, recently found you and your product looks amazing. Its summer of 2022, are you back in production? How can I get one of these?
Hi. Are you still selling these? Your website doesn't seem to be working.
Where do you get one of these at?
+bigred74699 Hi Bigred, thanks for watching. I just listed one on ebay and I will have some more listed by the end of the week.

Where do you buy it
Looks cool to use I would still worry about loosing gold
what is the maximum length of power cord?
it comes with a 20ft 16gauge cord. Could be extended to 50ft with 16 gauge or run 100ft with 14 or 12 gauge.

Buongiorno, posso sapere se funziona in verticale?grazie
It will work with some downtilt to about 45degrees but not with the sluicebox fully vertical.
I am gonna buy one of these this is a great product

Do you sell them.
You would really have something if that was battery powered to use in those remote areas
think i would of liked where the gravel came out to show gold not going to
Very poor in gold but a very honest person... Thanks for sharing your videos.
Great idea for a crevice tool… but I’m sure I could pan faster than this.
