you had your undersluice cut off depending if you have alot of black sand leave at least 3 inch opening for your minus eighth inch to drop into more black sand the more open
Wouldn't a drop riffle sluice be better for dredge concentrates ? Then threw a clean up sluice at home ... Sorry but you scare me with that way of clean up.
I love my Keene products. It's just a hobby and all sluices lose a little gold. I figure if my dredge catches it with that kind of water velocity, my sluice is going to catch it with much much less water velocity.

It's because I went through 4 foot of overburden (all sand). Nobody tending the back of the sluice.
Is that a full size 4” ?
Yes this is a Keene 4" 3 stage.
