AFTER covering her body in tattoos, Casey from Tauranga, New Zealand, thought it would be fun to get them covered up for the day - but this isn’t just an exercise in seeing what Casey would look like without tattoos, as she is beginning the process of getting some of her inkings permanently lasered off. Casey estimates she has over 50 tattoos and has spent approximately $50,000 on them. Her most recent tattoo was a large face tattoo, which she has now decided, along with her other face tattoos, to laser off. Working as a venue and general manager for bars and clubs, Casey’s tattoos weren’t a big deal, but after the pandemic hit, Casey changed direction work-wise and has been working with special needs children. This is something she’d love to do more of and she believes removing her face tattoos is a big part of being taken more seriously in other industries. That said, Casey still loves the rest of her tattoos, describing them as “a roadmap of your life” and has no plans to get rid of any of them permanently.

The makeup artist was so supportive
This makeup artist has been featured before in other cover ups. Her skill is outstanding and she is so compassionate to the people during the whole process.
I think ditching the oversized lip fillers would take 5-10 years off of her too, because she has really a cute and beautiful nose which those lips don't match. I didn't really mind the tattoos except the handwriting on the face. I'm glad she's kept her pretty shaped, natural teeth and wasn't tempted to get those premature dentures they call veneers. Cheek piercings can go too, since less is more.

She absolutely has to fix her ear lobes now as well, she has a journey ahead of herself. That in it's self can be her project.
It’s a type of body dysmorphia fr. When she said “I feel ugly” when she saw her beautiful self without the tatts, it made my heart sink,,like girl you are so beautiful, without the tatts and fillers and whatever else. Who made you believe you were ugly? Love yourself as you are, you’re beautiful just as God made you.

The makeup artist did an incredible job! Beautiful lady, it's gotta be trippy to see yourself revealed sans tattoos when they've been such a huge part of your visual identity for so long.

Good for this gorgeous woman making tough decisions in life! It's sad, but even today people are judged by their ink. I would never get a face tattoo, or neck, but some people can really pull them off, this beautiful woman being one. Sadly, people with "outlandish" looks do get judged. If she wants to work with kids, I think getting rid of the face tattoos will make it easier to get a job in that field. It shouldn't, but it will. I'm not a mom, but I wouldn't think twice about having my kids taught by someone with tattoos all over, but I've been told a few times I'm "too open-minded," whatever that means. I wish her all the luck in the world! Forgive the cliche of this comment, but YOU DO YOU, lovely lady!💙
She’s hiding behind those awful tattoos. It’s an excuse for failures or being overlooked rather than facing rejection in life that is just part of life for everyone.

Yes, the most unique people are the coolest to be around, and it doesn't have anything to do with surface . I used to feel the same way as you growing up in various subcultures.. but then I realized it's all an mask . They're usually waaay more fixated on looks than "beige" people.(Whom they often look down on)
Actually, I’m unique. I haven’t got any tattoos, fillers or piercings. Very few people can make that statement these days.

@@therose5783 That's the majority though. 90% of people born before 1960 don't have tattoos or piercings. Not many people I know have them either... ear piercings, yes.
I love ink and have some but all mine can be covered. I was taught that you can express yourself as much as you want. If you want a career in certain industries you need to be willing to do what is necessary. Ink that you can cover! 😁! I honestly believe and respect this! LOVE YOURSELF!
Frankly, she's beautiful either way... but I think when you saw her sparkle with her tattoos... it was just confidence. So, I do think she's much more overall attractive because of the joy she has on her face with the tattoos

I love tattoos on women, but once you start putting them on your face, you’ve crossed the line, you can never go back from. There is nothing about a face tattoo on anybody, no matter how pretty or handsome you think you are. Face tattoos will destroy whatever good looks you had.

she is very gorgeous, and the artist did an awesome job as well. I love the cheek piercings and the way the tattoos are arranged on the body, I think it suits her and enhances her natural beauty, unlike what some disturbed people say to her. Whatever she chooses to do to her OWN body, I bet she'll look amazing either way
