ALEXA, 31, from Cologne, Germany, describes her incredible look as 'Grunge Glam' which never fails to get her noticed in public. Alexa's unique style is made up of 90% of her body being tattooed and constantly dressed in black with striking glamorous makeup. Alexa told Transformed: "90% of my body is tattooed and so far I've spent €30,000. I love symmetry and so that's why I did my arms black, so it goes with every outfit and just looks good. I think I'll be 100% covered in tattoos soon." Despite the attention Alexa's look receives, she is often judged because of her image. She said: "When I was walking around the grocery store, I got followed by the security man as he thought I was stealing things and it was because of the tattoos." Today, Alexa is surprising her boyfriend Ollie and best friend Chris, by being transformed from her 'Grunge Glam' look into the classic 'Girl Next Door'. Makeup artist Roseanna has an enormous challenge on her hands with how much ink Alexa has. But how will Ollie and Chris react? Will they hate the new Alexa? Or will they prefer her without her signature look?

Yeah i had that issue too, that's why i kinda turned away from metal/got/rock stuff, i remember when i was in high school,and had shirt with my favourite band, i would get called gay by same peoples that listen same gender, just because they didn't like the band, they are extremly toxic and judgemental, and now as the comunity grow is even more worse. Sience i changed my style no one of my friends left, they all disliked me, so it explained that they only sticked around for the style rather for who i am. Their loss.

Although if he reads this he knows that this is his future, because curiously that judgementalism is built on bitter self-doubt and low self-esteem. 100% this. If you have a friend or partner who hates it when you dress a little bit outside of your normal aesthetic, or ever listen to a different type of music. Absolutely dumb them. They are shallow and only like one side of you.

Oh my God I know. I don't know if I've ever seen one of these episodes where a partner had anything anywhere near nice or supportive to say about it. They're always like total jerks about it. It's like dude, it's literally for one day or whatever like grow the fuck up. Also this is still your partner who you supposedly love, what is wrong with you? I wonder how they would like it if they tried something new and their Partners reacted like that to them. Wouldn't feel so good if the shoe was on the other foot. It's really telling about who some of these people really are in their relationships.
@@troubleinthevalley5884 this show made me realize what genuine love looks like, and it’s the moms’ reactions. They get so moved they get emotional, they look at their child with so much love and then reassure them that they love them no matter what they look like. The boyfriends and the female friends… fuck em, if they act like this douche, that’s not love.

I wonder if he look in the mirror, the way he just easly said he wouldn't date her if she looked like that, do he even see that he doesn't fit her because she's on top of him. I think i can smell the abuse , he's so frutated that she's pretty that he has to destroy her self confidence so she don't run away to someone better, so he made her feel miserable so she feel like only him is the one that will ever love her.
It’s always a bit weird when the partners react in this way. I get it though I suppose but can’t help but wonder how much they’re attracted to the persons “look” as opposed to the actual person. However people do identify with their look/appearance sometimes I guess.
I think it's super telling and shallow. Physical attraction is a huge part of attraction for men but when you cover up someone's tattoos and do their make up different your not fundamentally changing the way a person looks. They still have the same bone structure, eye color, height, weight, and body type. They are still releasing the same pheromones. When these guys say that hate it they basically are saying "I hate when you look more natural. I'm not actually attracted to you. I'm attracted to your aesthetic."
These alternative style people are so dumb. They think inking up their bodies is actually a good replacement to being an interesting person. And finally make up and tattoos are actually really unhealthy. Tattoo ink and makeup usually has heavy metals in them and cause all kinds of problems.
I mean is easier to understand that it would come hard if they would Switch gender, but when you just literary cover up tattoos and wear clothes, and to be spoken like that... Cringe.

He's like all of them, 100% narcissist. He only cares about her insofar as she reflects well on him. You can just tell how terrifying that is for him, he thinks about it every time the hairs fall out on his pillow or in the shower, every time he combs that fringe forward and arranges it so it masks the receding hairline. Actually personally and I think many people thinks the same as me -- she looks way better with her tattoos, with black hair, etc. Not very good transformation. But bf is rude for sure. Dog

What a bs, he likes his woman they way she likes herself. She looks 10 times better as herself and this was a bad makeover. She has such nice face and that all of a sudden covered with a ton off hair, her body figure is amazing but they put the worst dress ever on it so you can't see those anymore, realy horrible job. He is honest and she knew that already, they are not going to break up at all. If my wife asks me if i like something i give her an honest opinion too, if i ask her if a suit looks good on me i expect the same.

Ollie makes it VERY clear that he is only with her because of her “look”, very superficial guy right there. He gives me the ick. She’s a super nice person and a lot of fun to be around. I met her in 2018, and I was shocked to see her on here! She deserves so much better than that jerk. I’ll leave it at that 😮

I’m impressed with the makeup artists ability to cover her tattoos so well. I love her own style on her better. It’s something I would never do personally but she was beautiful. People are hating on her partner and friend but I think their gut reaction was based on shock. And when asked if they would be attracted or friends they are answering from the perspective of her being a stranger, not if she suddenly lost her tattoos. I think it’s great that they love her exactly how she is.

I feel it's very common with these goth/tattoo people. They feel basic without the emo/goth or tattoo style because they have issue with loving themselves and knowing who they truly are.
For me often this excessive style screams for help. These people really need to be loved.

Maybe they find their true self in expressing themselves in various ways, and feel out of place once they aren't given that choice and styled completely against their normal preference? @@takay6502 Everyone is dealing with these issues but from people that I know, it seems to be more frequent with people who embody these dark styles. But I agree, I think she is not that extreme like most of the other ones on the show :)

"This screams for help and these people just need to be loved" seems a whole lot judgement and prejudice coming from a person who just judged her partner to be superficial. I much prefer her original look. She is stunningly beautiful, with the dark hair and tattoos.
A complete different look, but in my opinion, her make up the way she does it is way better, I feel like it would be a better transformation to do the tattoo removal make up, a totally different outfit, and a way better wig. But she’s stunning the way she is.

Yup, my usual style is grunge and influenced by my favourite music. I'd say it's evolved into grunge meets casual skate wear and kawaii.

Um, I’m very soft glam prissy feminine, and even I think that makeover look was so bad. They should have done curled glamorous hair with her real hair and an actually cute outfit, and some soft glam make up. No wonder the boyfriend didn’t like it. I think they always purposely put them in outfits and hairstyle that would not compliment the transformation. I am yet to find a transformation where they got the hair and clothing.
