    Veto is the Louis Vuitton of tool bags but they're built like damn TANKS! I have the tech xl bag and it's one of the most well built tool bags I've ever had you pay a premium for the veto name but man they're nice to have

    I have one. It's nice to carry my tools in and have both hands free for anything else I need. Recently I started putting bags together specifically for each job so I don't have to carry all of my tools in.

  • @prodoommania4157
    @prodoommania4157 Před 2 lety

    Great video. I have the Tech pack and keep a small bicycle lock inside of it and a pad lock for each zipper. Whenever I am working on a side if for some reason I need to step away for a few I will lock the padlocks and run the bicycle lock through the handle and around a pole (or other heavy object). This isn't a 100% burglar proof method but it absolutely prevents passerbys from running off with my bag. And I consider it to be good security. I have left my bag like this overnight a couple times and it would be there in the morning (although I wouldn't recommend leaving anything overnight). I love the bag. And have over $1,000 worth of tools inside. Veto is my go to. For as long as the man is alive I'm sure the bags will thrive.

    Never easy finding the “right” bag for your tools, & your Trade, & no bag, tote, box, etc....is ever perfect. However, there are some out there....that comes pretty darn close. I find Veto is one company (along with some others) that does come pretty close to making a great bag for ppl working in many industries.
    Do gotta say, there’s been a few times I’ve used my tool bags for my “go bag” when traveling, & use it as a “suitcase bag”. Might look funny; but they fit a lot of clothes AND STUFF when traveling (on a work vacation, vacation, etc) as they sure do withstand the abuse of TSA searches, baggage handlers, & traveling from place to place within the plains😂
    Thx Roger✌🏼

    So you pay $45 more than the original pro pac tech pack bc you can swap out the inside pocket layouts or add a laptop compartment? No other other differences at all? I know it’s black but I like the brown leather and the primary color on the original more. I wonder if the Velcro will become weak over time causing the pocket layouts to move out of place? What do y’all think?

    • @jeffsmith8066
      @jeffsmith8066 Před 3 lety

      The picket arrangements are different iirc. The original is a copy of the pocket layout on both sides while the camo and this black version have different pocket layouts from front to back side

  • @cheynebest7028
    @cheynebest7028 Před 3 lety +1

    Its a great over built tool bag but thats also one of the problems... the weight. The price is also pretty rough. A 5 gallon bucket paired with a caddy and a bucket organizer all in is about $15 to $25. That will last you a long time. The veto starts at $350 but I guess sometimes you just have to have some ice cream!

  • @ForeverAGh0st

    I've heard lots of great things about the organization and durability of the veto tool bag,however it is quite expensive.
    I personally use the milwaukee packout backpack and man do I love it. I could store my m12 bandsaw, m18 hackzall and m18 impact with still some space to spare.

  • @prodoommania4157
    @prodoommania4157 Před 2 lety

    Simply put a majority of Veto bags are for people who like their tools organized. I have a friend who says that he prefers keeping all his tools in an empty paint bucket. And that's fine. He said that all his tools would not fit in a Veto. And sure he's probably correct. If you look inside of his paint bucket he has Several Phillip Screwdrivers of practically the same length. Several Beater slotted screwdrivers. And seemingly around 5 or so channel locks of roughly the same length. I completely understand having one of everything. Or even a few of everything in certain scenarios (couple channel locks, dedicated Phillips screwdrivers, etc...). But having multiples of the exact same tool "just because" seems like a waste of time and energy. We all know someone out there who is like this. And sure, they probably couldn't fill at their redundant tools in a Veto. But those of us who put time into our loadouts can certainly thrive from Veto.

  • @zackphy
    @zackphy Před 3 lety

    Lol ppl break into your house and you don't want them taking your tools. Wouldn't they just take the entire bag? Even without a lock on it they're just gonna take the bag itself instead of rummaging through it. Everything's already packed up nice and neat for them. And if there's a lock on it then they'll appreciate you pointed out the valuable stuff for them all packed and ready to go. It's the same way I feel about small lockboxs and safes that aren't bolted down. I've had friends who have had their entire little safes taken multiple times until they finally listened to me and either bolted it down or got a big gun safe. If it's in a safe or locked they already know it's valuable and already collected for them in an easy to carry package. They just take it with them and then they have all the time in the world to break into it at their own leisure. So I wouldn't just stick a lock on this bag if you live in an area with thevies, put it in a large locking tool cabinet or in a gun safe that's bolted to the wall of your garage.
