I had big plans to go solo camping somewhere awesome. When I couldn't make it work out I settled for camping at my favorite tree. After all, I had all the groceries. It was a cold night, followed by a pretty cold morning, but it was nice to unwind and do some camp cooking over the Folding Firebox Camp Stoves and tinker with some bushcraft and survival skills.
The bacon was the thickest I have ever had and the hash browns were perfect with the eggs running down into them, everything all cooked in that bacon grease! It was awesome!

A trick, when an expedition is made through an uninhabited territory, can be to be accompanied by a goat, which is producing milk, and that the goat carry part of the load and also to milk it in the morning and at night to do coffee with milk (with Nescafe). Perhaps the alcohol stove should be larger in diameter to increase the calorific power, since they usually produce little heat

Steve. I just love your videos, and your stoves and accessories are amazing. Plus, no messy cooking fire pit left when you pack up! Of all of the wonderful things in your videos, there is one thing that I love above all else. It was makes me smile every time I hear it. Every time you take that first taste the delicious meal that you have just prepared, there are a few seconds of silence then, ....wait for it......”mmmm”. 😋 For me it is like waiting for that green spark at exact moment of a tropical sunset 🌅 .

They give us a perfect camp kitchen set up. I had no idea how well the Nano Stoves worked on there own as a stand alone camp stove. We make our hot drinks & can cook a very nice hot meal on just these 2 Nano Stoves. I am so enamored with this stove...I did the Swedish charcoal set up last night on the front porch in freezing conditions and produced some of the best lamb chops ever. It’s going to be a great spring/summer up here. Can’t wait. Your property is awesome there Steve. Growing up in Colorado and living in Montana and Idaho for a number of years, I have an appreciation for that type of country. Miss it. I always get so hungry watching your videos. I've been trying to track down where to find that Hungry Jack hash brown mix in Australia and not having much luck.
In the colder weather I often enjoy a mini-campfire in my 5" firebox on my front porch, with cheese/ham/tomato toasted sandwiches in cooked in a sandwich iron, followed up with toasted marshmallows for dessert.
That is quite the backyard and that is quite the breakfast. Who needs a Viking range when you have a Firebox?

Good cooking there mate, even at home I can't always flip the eggs right. Also, you make the hash browns exactly like I do, so much than some ways they try to pass things off as hash browns.

I can't get over how well you eat outdoors, haha. love it. a lot of it is car camping only, but man that bacon, eggs and hashbrowns looked just awesome. too bad you didn't have some sort of Toast making adapter for your stove....... ;)
I make toast right in the frying pan. works good . kinda like grilled cheese without the cheese. I think they call it Texas toast.

Like your videos, I use my firebox once a week in the woods along with the nano. These are great products. I mostly use pellets, the dead wood in south Louisiana is always damp and moldy which stinks and burns your eyes when burned. The pellets are close to smokeless and less soot.
That is the great thing about the stoves, they are so versatile with the fuels you can use. I am glad that it is working well for you with your Nano and pellets!! Thanks for the feedback and support.
I love your videos! AndI'm so hungry afterwards watching you cook stuff! I'm so impressed with the Firebox stoves that I went and bought a Nano for my little camp trip in Europe this Summer (but mainly for my daughter's Duke of Edinburgh Gold Award trip by Mt. Snowdon this Fall.) I've been messing around with a Trangia and a collapsible wind guard but could never use the dampener properly or at all.. The Nano is perfect!!! Ticks all the boxes (I can use my meths micro stove too) and I love how it folds up flat. Thanks for showing how to burn wood and other fuels in it. Highly informative! Looking forward to watching your other videos. Cheers!

Lol, dude, your a guy after my own heart...how many times have i pitched a tent in the backyard or front yard because I wasn't able to breakaway...but I was fiending for the primitivity, sleeping outside, cooking over a fire...you know the deal...keeping up morale.
I can see using the Swedish Torch setup while out on a weekend long icefishing trip. An ongoing pot of soup, water for tea/cocoa/coffee or just a heat source. The charcoal would be easier to drag along than wood and seems to last a lot longer.
