Cranberries are harvested in the fall so you might not want to swim for very long since the water will be cold that time of year where cranberries are grown. Plus the berries are quite firm and the skin strong so they don't release anything into the water. She says in the video they are like a small apple, and that is really exactly what they feel like. So when they flood the bog for harvesting it is to make it so the berries float around like a giant tub of bobbing for apples.

I always loved cranberries when I was little, I'd suck on the berry and I liked the tartness. as an adult I still love sour and tart things. I always buy as many cranberry bags as I can during thanksgiving and freeze them so I can make my own juice and jam through the year
