I have grown up near and still live very close to some of the largest cranberry farms in NJ. It’s so cool. They let people watch the harvests.
the farming and harvesting process is very professional, I love these cranberry farms.
When I lived in Madison, Wisconsin, I would make the 4hr drive to Minnesota to visit my family.
On the way, I'd drive by the town of Tomah, Wisconsin, where i94 met back up with i90. I remember seeing a big cranberry bog.
Some times of the year, the bog was lusciously beautiful, reflecting the pretty blue midwestern sky. Then when the end of summer came, I'd see the deep red cranberries.
It was wonderful. I always looked forward to seeing the bogs on that long drive. Thank you to all the farmers who make this happen. I always think of those bogs when it's Thanksgiving when I'm eating homemade cranberry sauce.

No, blueberries cannot be harvested like cranberries. Blueberries that are soaked in water will rot.

Cranberry juice is too sweet for me but my mom loves it.
