This looks more cost efficient than the Boston Dynamics robots. Only potential downside might be the stiff suspension, but I guess a gun/camera can be fitted with a gyro or gimbal, or whatever it is they use to stabilize.

Very cool. Would be incredible to have two small drones with it that could provide overhead view at all times while in combat situations, where one small drone always up in the air. Maybe even make version which has a few of those antiarmor drone launchers say in a tow behind cart, could probably easily carry 6-10 of those units aboard and have way to auto launch them as needed. I could even see this being used for small field portable air defense system if they put several of these together as little mini squad, radar unit, several batteries, etc. Technology is simply amazing. I wonder if there would be a weight/power/speed benefit to using small gas turbine engine.

@@user-jb5pp5rw9u Yeah, well in any case I kind of like the design of this thing so I looked it up via google. Not as much info as I would like but it does say 4w for radio power, if that's 4 watts it's not much range but the user can put whatever is needed on the deck. Frequency agile is a very good thing, so is open architecture and the payload capacity is impressive for its size and weight. The very clever Ukrainians would come up with all sorts of uses for this thing.
Personally, I'm getting tired of Moscow's jamming, it's messing with the accuracy of our weapons and I'm wondering if anybody is looking as setting up some kind of network for ground based terminal guidance that would not over expose friendly troops. Something like this might be able to do it. There are ways...

It looks 'handy'. But I don't see anything to support the claim that Russia has a greater interest in this robot than, say, the drone sinking their ships, the GMLRS or ATACM guidance systems, Excalibur and Copperhead smart artillery rounds, an intact Bradley or Abrams (they've captured a damaged one), etc. Repeating the unsupported claim of Russian interest seems like a bit of a marketing ploy.. The real value will be its 'smarts', but this video does not mention if any of its capabilities are autonomous or must be remotely but manually operated.
