- It's been over a year since Riverpod 2.0 was released, and I've been a bit stuck in my old ways. This video will show you how to update your old Riverpod patterns to the newer, cooler way using build generators.

As pointed out below, it's best you install riverpod_lint and riverpod_generator as dev dependencies. You can do this either by updating your pubspec OR when you run the command, add "-d" to the flutter pub add command. Thanks!
Very useful video. Thanks Tyler, I've been searching this kind of content several days ago.
First of all, a major 'Thank you' for this tutorial. It is exactly what i was looking for regarding the codeGen in riverpod. Beeing in the early stage of using riverpod, seeing a lot of other tutorials sticking to the old way of building providers, felt inefficient after having read through the documentation. Your way of explaining things really enhanced my understanding. After watching this video 2 times, i started digging for more of your tutorials and it just keeps maintaining the great quality.
