The strength of the Bass part is amazing and it just pulls everything together.
Avi's songwriting is graceful and deep. The melody of this piece is beautiful. The arrangement they did is stunning and these kids performed it with so much passion. Just what I needed today, thank you!

I first heard this stunningly beautiful song at ACA during this performance. The kids sounded angelic. The song itself has such a powerful message of strength and tenacity, of perseverance and hope. Avi's songwriting just hits me right in the heart. Thank you for recording this and sharing it!
Absolutely breathtaking! The passion these young people sing with is reflected in not only their voices but their faces as well. You not only hear but also see how much they love what they are doing. What a great compliment to Avi. 💖💖💖

Thanks Alma! I saw Ben directing (I think!) and assumed he had been the collaborater. I’ve never been clear on Rob’s role since I don’t know him as well as I do Ben.
@@jeancaldwell5391 That is actually Rob directing. He was one of the behind the scenes guys on the Sing Off just like Ben.
The 3 of them have been friends forever.
Rob is co-founder of ACA with Avi and Ben, teaches other A capella workshops and camps, has a great podcast.
Rob is a great beatboxer and he and Avi taught the bass and beatboxer in Citizen Queen. They work with the basses and vocal percussionists in A CaPop Kids.
Rob Dietz arranged this, Avi wrote it, and the two of them worked with the choir on this presentation.
Rob is amazing, he is just behind the scenes so people don't know.
Ben is with PTX most of the time.

How many voice parts is it arranged for?
Beautiful. Only critique is the sopranos were slightly flat on 'ground' 3:10-3:11. My choir is performing this and it is tricky for memorization.
