Yeah, I agree. I see NO reason why one cannot just keep the original Screen Protector on the phone and add in one of these recommended protectors on top of it. I would rather have TWO screen protectors (factory and third-party) since it does not negatively impact the performance of the phone or detract from the display brightness and clarity.

LOL, thank you very much. Didn't knew there was already a screen protector. Have a S23 and it dodn't came with a preinstalled because Samsung don't install sreen protectors anymore 9unfortunatly) but it seems the flip5 still.
Gonna wait for that one to die before replacing it. If ever. My GF still has it on her thrusty...S7 (yup).

@SarahSSCR yeah, he explained that right at the start but most samsung phones come with pre installed protectors

Hey just wanted to ask if it’s possible to apply these screen protectors with the case on? I’m currently using the spigen air thin case and it has an adhesive attached to it so idk if it’s safe to remove it. Great video btw!

@HighTechCheck Question: Is there a reason why you didn't do the glass screen protector this year?? With the Flip 4 you removed the original and installed the WD glass. And you were very impressed with it. Just curious because i just got my new flip 6 and i would much rather have the glass feel. Thanks!!

Love your reviews but I'm wondering about the drop test a bit.
Have you tested your drop test's reproducibility? For the protectors that include multiple, I'd wonder if you jump right to the failure height, would it immediately fail? What about if you dropped a ball from the height below failure multiple times? I'm also wondering if having it break somehow better disperses the impact force from the screen under it?

Hi @HighTechCheck , I followed your instruction on the Whitestone dome premium Gen Film for Flip 5 , but i ended up with a horrible crease as soon as i folded the phone. Now need to know how to remove this without impacting the pre installed screen protector
I managed to do it as it was lifting up badly so was enough to use the lift sheet included in the rig .
That’s what I used to get all my protectors off. It requires patience but can be done. I’m sorry to hear you had problems with your installation 😔

The phone may yield before the screen protector when you fold it shut, if you were to stack screen protectors. If the inside screen protector starts to peel off, it's recommended to go through Samsung and they will replace it without voiding the warranty or any future trade in value.

I'm going to remove the factory protector from the main screen when I get my Z FLIP 5 ( in 2 days)....a question about the outside/cover screen....is there a factory protector on that screen as well?
No there is no outside display protector. Just curious why your going to remove the pre installed protector?
@@HighTechCheck I am going to install a "hydrogel" protector to the main screen & a tempered glass to the cover screen...why would anyone install a protector over a protector?...that is just asking for crappy display...etc.
BTW... uplift a corner...then using a hair dryer or a heat gun (careful) will remove it just fine...the trick is to pull AT A 45 DEGREES ANGLE...DO NOT PULL IT STRAIGHT!

I’m sorry for the confusion, I didn’t remove the protector but I’ve don’t it before on past fold and flip devices.
@@HighTechCheckhey, also during that same part you mentioned that Samsung doesn’t recommend putting a screen protector over the one that comes with the phone. Will putting one on be bad for the phone over time?
Samsung does not recommend to use double screen protector so basically when you open from the box screen protector already there and you can go back to samsung to do screen protector replacement
