For straight mud, can't beat a Super Swamper Bogger, greasy side hills are their achilles heel. Lots of times I've slid sideways due to the relatively straight tread pattern. For all around use and mostly mud be better served with some Super Swamper TSL's

I have KM2's on my CUCV trucks and Toyo MT's on a Chevy K20. Both do well off road. The Toyo has a stiffer sidewall and actually measures out to advertised size. The larger size KM2's were not even close to advertised specs, but otherwise a great tire.

I am using the BFG KM3's. Its on a lifted Ram truck. I have used Toyo At/Rt/Mt's, Nitto Trail Grapplers, Goodyear Wrangler Kevlar, Kuhmo M71 tires on my last 3 trucks (2 Ram Powerwagons and my current 2022 Ram Badlander. The BFG Km3's are the best offroad tire made in my opinion. It does everything. If you keep any of the tires I mentioned rotated on a regular basis, they are all going to work pretty well though.

Hankook MT'2's are the best MT I have ever ran as far daily driver MT goes. They have significantly more grip than a hybrid and are quieter than some. I have around 50,000 mi on set now with room to spare. They have plenty tread to get through the winter without getting me stuck. Next fall I will probably buy them again. They best hybrid I have ever ran was the Kelly TSR/Edge. They are a 60,000+ mile tire if you rotate. They do get loud though when they wear down and they like to pick up rocks. The Hankooks don't pick up rocks and are quieter. I wish Kelly would add stone ejectors to them.

KM3s here, we got them about 17 months ago, less than a thousand miles on them, entirely on road so far, 285/75R16x7, no regrets. Had Firestone MT2s before, they had a more aggressive tread but a softer sidewall. Probably try M/T Baja Boss MT next.

Run the nitto trail grappler m/t's on f350 work truck, always loaded or pulling a trailer, good off & on road, if rotated properly I'll get 50,000 to 70,000 miles out of them, it's all I run on that truck, think I'm on set # 4 now, if it ain't broke, don't fix it. I am thinking of trying something different on a 97 f350 that finally just got lifted. Looks like Mickey Thompson Baja legend mtz's are a bit cheaper, still a load range E, anyone have any experience with them ? Are they a decent tire that I will get my money's worth out of them? Thanks for any info!!

toyo MTs have the best looking (and thickest) side lugs. Pretty quiet. Only slightly louder than my old ridge grapplers. My only grip is I have a slight vibration at like 5mph, on pavement, due to the aggressive lugs.
