In Hell's Kitchen, two teams compete for the prestigious job of head chef at a top restaurant, all under the guidance of world-class fiery chef Gordon Ramsay. - Zábava
He only gets mad at customers who are legit rude and out of line
And customers who complains after finishing their food😂
So basically you’re saying that’s 99% of customers?
Eh, those customer interactions always seemed so obviously scripted. I’m glad they largely stopped with that after the first couple of seasons. And even though I know that the diners in HK aren’t paying customers, I certainly don’t believe real life Gordon would snap at a customer like he did in some of those interactions (also the bit in one of the early seasons where a table had a pizza delivered to their table because they were waiting so long for their food was also used in a Kitchen Nightmares episode)
I have seen him get mad at customers just for asking for the food and not be rude to gordon so that's not true Andrew... The only reason he didn't fuss at that woman was because he sent it out like that he couldn't say anything Andrew ....
That is true to be fair.
This woman didn't intrude, whistle, or repeat incessantly. She waited to be addressed. Voiced a legitimate issue and done it respectfully with manners. That's why he didn't freak out

I'm the same way. It's why I quickly realized I'm not fit for any kind of supervisor/leadership position. I always remember a few years ago I went to a bar that started serving food at 12, I ordered at 11.52 as the only people in the bar, I did hear them say their regular chef was off and didn't get my food for a hour, turns out what they were doing was waiting for it to get busy and doing things in bulk as people arrived 45 minutes after us were getting food before us, and people ordering same food who arrived around 30 minutes later got food before us too, then the food we got was half frozen still and the staff just sat around on their phones or talking to their regulars.

Currently working at a fast food place so it's different, I'm up front so I'm mostly taking orders and bagging food n drinks, and it does get crazy at times. I do feel bad for making people wait, but when I have 4 cars coming in the drive thru with 3+ orders of hamburgers and trying to keep the time from when they first come to order, to them getting their food and them leaving under 4 minutes.... it gets too chaotic. The last thing we want on our ass is people yelling and demanding shit from us, gimme 5-10min and I'll promise your food is fresh and hot. Get off my ass and my cook's asses, AND YOU GET YOUR FOOD FREE IF WE FUCK IT UP SO WHY ACT LIKE STUPID MONKEYS?? I was quite astonished by this too, even the slackest of individuals would repeat this back but when one can't, I saw very little acknowledgement that something could be going wrong.
It's just easy to mock.
He seemed well aware that his behavior was NOT right and his attention was elsewhere, i think you're looking too deep into something that isn't that deep, this is not the first time this has happened in this show and they literally show a similar case with the red team afterwards
There's always one member who can't focus, it's way more probable that it's due the pressure than dementia, it's not that easy to determine if it's dementia or not, there's a reason why multiple test to confirm it
For more context he has a stroke earlier in his life. he mentioned this in another episode. apparently, he was only 22 at the time of filming.
@@EqBeatz That explains a lot, a stroke can cause the exact symptoms he's showing
@@etherealhatred This is more than just a lack of focus, not being able to repeat back a short sentence after 3 attempts is quite serious. The test is called GPCOG and it's full of simple questions that any normally healthy person can answer easily and repeating a phrase is one of the questions.
I love how polite the customer was and how respectful Chef Ramsey was in return, but some of those other chefs are infuriating! If this is truly what he has to deal with all the time I’m so sorry-
Might explain his anger lol
it really explains it
@Robert J I certainly hope he doesn't fire chefs for just drinking water, aka a basic function of the human body to keep living
@@seniorchonkza997getting water is one thing, standing around doing nothing while you are down multiple people and then deciding to get water after multiple people tell you to start doing something is another.😊

He's super polite
Wow this is the first time I saw your comment without atleast 1k likes lmao
dame dane
Your everywhere aren’t you?
hello cringe guy
Ray Mak
How quickly she explained everything shows she was expecting Gordon's wrath. 😂
It's not hard to be polite, This wonderful lady is proof.
She wasn't a Karen, and didn't want 5 seconds of Fame, respect!
@alan caprock I certainly wouldnt explain it kindly to you, so I wont.
@alan caprock Oh I can definitly give meaning to it, but I figured you'd be too dense to understand it the way I was going to explain it.
Yep, most customers who come to the hot plate are rude and bitch about the tiniest details. The issue she had was huge, most people would be livid if they were served half a meal in a restaurant
@alan caprock Arcelay is right. It's time for you to log off.
Hmm I wonder where she is now
Jacqueline seems like the person who is always there for a reward, but disappears when a punishment happens
no shes beat out by i believe her name was Gina, one of the ones that were upstairs during this clip
the one that brought a freaking puppet to the dorms, that thought her make up was more important than a punishment
in fact she didnt wanna do the punishment so much that she quit the whole show right before the punishment started
this was only episode 2 btw
@@mrroboshadow Gina is a psychopath, she quit after a big fight with the red team
@@cheahweiren7638 with how she annoyed everyone i dont think anyone was surprised there WAS a big fight

Not going to happen on Hell's kitchen. There is only two reasons for skipping a punishment both are medical. S7 sibohan, was excused because of allergies to chemicals.
@@drmayeda1930 yea ik I saw the season, Jacqueline lasted way longer then expected
I've met Ramsey before, he's lovely and very polite. Had a great chat about cars
Jacqueline is the oldest 27 year old I've ever seen 😂
Jacqueline is definitely the kid who always picks the smartest kid in the class to do a group project with, does none of the work, and gets an “A” because the smart kid doesn’t want to fail the team participation part of the project.
Jeremy is the student who does his part of the group project based on what he understands, yells at their group for explaining what he’s doing, and gets angry at the teacher because the teacher refuses to grade their part of the assignment.
And you sound like a pushover goody two shoes
@@MrKelz419 awwwwww does someone feel better now that they’ve “insulted” a stranger online? It’s okay. You’ll feel better about yourself one day.
And yes, I was a “goody two shoes” in school. (My parents didn’t really give me a choice though.) I actually liked school so much, I’m a middle school science teacher now. I literally see these archetypes 9 months out of the year.
@@toyamwarr Well we are both insulting strangers on the internet aren't we? You probably use your position to take revenge on the kids who remind you of your former peers who you let push you around in school. Your parents put pressure on you and exploited you for the benefit of their sense of control and ego.
Only for you to become a middle school science teacher who masquerades their prejudice as scientific discernment.
@@MrKelz419 We get it, you're privileged.
Tell me about it. I'm the smart kid.😒
"I had to get my water, chef" is one of the lamest excuses I've ever heard, I almost clapped when Gordon said get out.
It wasn't an excuse, it was the truth. Too bad the truth really sucked....
She was standing about 2 metres away from a sink with a tap. Getting some water from there would have taken her about 10 seconds...🤣
@@brians132 She literally did nothing- she just stood there and stared. Even her own teammate called her out.
And she was looking for water to DRINK- which isn't a problem, unless you take forever to look for it
@@brians132 Look at 2:05-2:31. Thats where she begins "looking for water" (I love the music the video editor put 🤣🤣🤣🤣)
Now look at 2:40-2:54 She was being a flake and tried to make it seem like Gordon was the villian- like, if you brought in water why didn't she put it in a place where she can grab it quickly???
She held back her team, she did not contributed at all- she wanted to show to everyone that she didn't care and be in her "zin" or whateva. Jokes on her, her team turned against her.
I was glad when she was kicked out- and she had the audacity to act like she threw in the towel on purpose when in reality she wasn't even great to begin with 💅🏽
Especially given her interview clip after she left, I'm left wondering if she was high.
Blessed content
Gordon: Three halibut, one bass, one chicken.
Jeremy: *(dial tone)*
"I'm gonna go upstairs and rehydrate myself."
And that's why she isn't going to win. Even the guy who couldn't repeat what the chef had just told him stands a better chance since he at least was upset by his failure.
"Oh well they were already struggling because they were so short-handed and now I've made it even worse because I was just to pathetic to keep up. LOL OH well, not my problem."
That's not how a chef thinks, that's how a part-time prep-cook thinks.
Even a part time prep cook would have more pride in their work than that, even a fry cook would. She was acting more like a selfish customer than a chef.
@@TheLawliet10 I think you have had more luck with prep cooks than I have. I agree though, her very obvious thought of "Not my problem now" means she's never going to make in the field at the level she wants to.
Yes but it’s also important for workers to stay hydrated or they could pass out in a hot kitchen.
She's only 27?!?
@@SaneeXD Time and place. Her boss 'Gordon' is addressing her about a customer issue, you know the MF's that get you paid...and you slam a water bottle in his face. GTFO indeed.
I love it when people actually treat Chef Ramsay with respect and he treats them the same. Its just nice to see such interactions :)
well that and he had to send it like that intentionally on the first place to give those people in the kitchen a chance to cook wth 3 people down.... and knew it would come back so he had to be super nice regardless and swallow one and take responsability for others mistakes that's why he sent that other women who was looking for water out of kitchen. Spending time looking for water bottle surely if it was 100% nesseassary and she was at the point of a stroke like the other 2 it would have been fair if she had just pour a small amount from the tap in to mug or glass in the kitchen and not wasted time.
As everyone should be, no excuses. Phrases like “respect you elders” are outdated af. Unless the elderly in question is Gordon Ramsay
@@tomfoolery597 "Respect your elders" is outdated? Wha-?
That's common manners, what are you on about mate
@@ivnislykun Age is irrelevant when it comes to respect. If you are shown respect then you show it back. If your not then don’t show it back. That’s common manners. Showing respect just because someone’s 2-3 times your age even if your shown none back is stupid
@@tomfoolery597 i dont think "treating your elders with respect" is outdated... i mean your elders do include your parents, grandparents etc, you probably should be treating them with respect. unless they have been treating you like trash

How that woman works in ANY kitchen is astounding
Well knowing who gordon truly is no surprise he is actually nice
Yeah he's the nicest on master chef. Especially with the kids
It helped that the customer wasn't rude.
It’s just that the customers are the ones who are rude first
It's because it was ramseys fault for sending out the plate. What's he gonna do yell at himself.😆 1:38
@@Batman-bl5qy not really his fault tho. Even professional chefs make mistakes. It’s mainly that the costumer wasn’t nearly as rude. Also, it was the garnish station’s fault for taking so long to make the garnish. Whenever the garnish isn’t ready but the rest of the order is, Gordon sometimes sends the garnish separate.
*This customer is the best one I've seen yet.*
That lady was very nice and polite.
Gordon sent her dish out like that on purpose to buy the kitchen some time to finish the garnish. That’s why he was nice about it.
czcams.com/video/5y1qjObX660/video.html
That's proper kitchen management tbh
But he also didn't expect the potatoes to take 7 minutes to finish. He probably thought they would be done in like a minute or two after serving the chicken. Regardless, the guest was polite about it, didn't go crazy or anything which is really refreshing to see.
😂 exactly!
It was actually a pretty cute scene. I imagine that she was getting ready to be yelled at though. That's what I don't get about some people, they say that Gordon is a horrible person because he yells but how do people miss things like this, when we see his real personality.
