I’m still crying after this dinner party. It’s pure of sincerity and the fact that they chose to share this news with us through their own mouths/ word and not during press con is soo appreciated. Let’s support each member and shower them with love 💕😙 ARMY BTS FOREVER. Also familia I recommend reading the translation of armys around the end convo because hybe didn’t really translate it the best and armys on Twitter did a better job at dissecting the meaning of their words.
I've watched this dinner video 6x now and I still cry when Namjoon's cries... It's bittersweet for me, but know that if they say this is best for them and they need it, I will support them 💯.

This is honestly the best decision. BTS aren’t just idols anymore. they’re so much more. they’re talented, individual young men. They have so much to offer to the world as artists and as people. Coming together after this break will be great. I love these boys so much and I only wish for the best. They have assured us and got scared of what we might think. But we ARMY will always be here for BTS, supporting and loving. BTS are family and love each other . I cant wait for things to come and what they’re going to show us. Thank you BTS for everything. 💜

HYBE's CEO Park Ji Won had sent an email to HYBE's employees regarding the suspension of group's activities that BTS has mentioned in the dinner gathering yesterday.
"I'm sending this email for a clearer explanations to the workers who's going to receive a various of reaction from outside of the companies.
The artists message that they have delivered through the 'Bangtan Dinner' means that they're going to expand the scope of their activities in a more diverse manners by combining the group's activities as well as individual activities for their own maturity and growth in the future.
The contents were released and misinterpreted by those outside of the company, which in results has created a misunderstanding.
BTS isn't considering on disb@nding at all, and they're not even in the process of doing so, they just taking a break.
The artist's message on taking a break from team's activity doesn't mean that they've come to a complete stop of their (team) activities.
The scope of their activities will be expanding as they're planning on doing both the team and individual activities at the same time. This will provide them the chance to grow and take a leap forward as an artist."

@@annmi4730 he suspended group activities of BTS for the meantime for them to rest and recharge well. Also on Jk VLive just now he said that they are not on hiatus or they are not disbanded. Jk cleared out that they will just minimized some group activities but will not stop doing group activities for the team and will still be doing such as run BTS and so on since they would focus on their individual projects for now.

A part of me is sad about the news. I think that's natural as ARMYs because we're used to seeing them as a group. I'm sure they're kinda sad about it, too. But I'm still happy that we get to see their individual colors and the things they want to do individually. I'll still support the seven members equally 💜

@@THEqueenspringday Yes, the word "hiatus" was not an accurate translation. It was more like "off-season". Like they'll go on a different direction, they'll be doing different things that are planned out wven though no one expected it at all. That's why they have to clear that up

And its not like they’re disbanding, everyone. Keep that in mind. I’ve been an army since 2015, and i believe that from this point on, they’ll get stronger together, even when they’re apart.
let’s stay until the end guys, this is only the beginning of their new chapter. it’s okay to miss them and feel sad, but if it’s for their well-being, it’s totally fine. I would rather have this knowing it’s what they truly want and what makes them happy than letting them lose themselves and their passion while being bts. if you’re a real army, you will know this break is very much needed. they themselves already told us they want to explore themselves as solo artist, but pls remember that they WILL always comeback. Please keep on loving them as 7 individual artist and as BTS💜 I don’t care how long it takes for them to come back as a group but The day will come and i’m 100% sure they will comeback stronger than ever and we will always wait for them, ALWAYS!!💜 cheer up familia and armys out there!!

the sad part for me is we, ARMY is the biggest reason for them to hold back from doing what they want because of the expectations that we have. please dont get me wrong, and please get what i mean. bangtan would never blame us and they are always thankful for us as we are towards them. this break from group activities (music wise) is a good thing for them.. i am not sad about them taking a break, but sad that they endured for so long and hurt themselves because they worried that their decisions might hurt the ARMYs. in a way, we has become a burden to them (burden is not the right word, but please understand where i'm coming from) 💜😭💜😭

I haven't stopped crying ever since I watched this. I've been an ARMY for 5 years now and BTS saved me from being in pain. Now watching them being in pain broke my heart. I can't imagine my life without them.

This has been honestly the best reaction I have seen to this dinner. It was silent and serious in the right moments, as well as calm and funny with perfect timing as well. Thank you for that. I really appreciate how focused and considerate you both were of their words and emotions. It was honestly wonderful to witness. A lot of reactions to this either were too flippant or too emotional to be taken seriously, and what I mean by that is it felt to fake. It felt like the emotions shown were too over the top to the point of being disingenuous, or making jokes about something right as they were sad or feeling down. But you guys were locked right in on what they were feeling and treating it with the seriousness and consideration it deserves, as well as making the right jokes when you could tell the mood on the screen was better, and I could see on your faces how genuine you guys were being with your reaction. Thank you for that, so so much. I know I appreciate it. 🙂
As an ARMY, I am not sad but I'm proud of BTS to take a decision like this to stop group promotions for a while and focusing on their solo stuff. Its's not easy to do so, and i think they reason they cried and were scared to bring this topic up was that how would armies will feel. will we get disappointed but its not like that. We understand that this a necessary thing to do for them right now. Bts never break their promises so they are gonna keep their promise and come back more stronger, closer and happier for us. if you’re a real army, you will know this break is very much needed. And i wanna say this to all armies that don't be sad this is a new chapter of their lives and it's not like we r not gonna get content from them as they said they r coming with solo projects. 1:15:35 this is literally my 4th time watching festa2022 and I'm still crying like my tears spills out immediately when I hear Namjoon voice like that we have never seen this side of him or hear him cry like this, u can tell he cares but he has had too much building up but because he wants try so hard to satisfy and make army and be BTS and all this pressure it's just been too much. This was emotional for me because they looked so worried about our thoughts and just hurting. If they were like “Hi guys! We’re going on a two year break but RUN BTS will keep going along with us releasing solo albums to be refreshed for chapter two” I’d be like congrats, good for you! But seeing them cry like this and knowing they have so many worries and thoughts that they want to share is what upsets me. I want them to be happy and they shouldn’t feel guilty for taking a break. Above all, we are family. The boys are family. In an industry like this, at the pace they followed, it was expected that at some point they would need some time to breathe. A break is not an end, it's a healthy thing to not burn out.
Just to add something, it's so brave of them to say this right now. They're at the peak of their career and it's not easy to say they're going on a different direction than what they've done. I'm also grateful for them for being honest with us and for telling this change to us personally because we all know it will be twisted if it came from news articles. I just hope they won't feel guilty about feeling the exhaustion and burnout. I trust their words and I trust their craft. Apobangpo 💜
They’re not leaving us! The boys are just taking a needed break as it’s the best decision to keep Bangtan together for a long time. Bighit made a announcement on Twitter stating that there will still be group activities, but the boys are focusing on solo activities right now.
When I watched the video I didn't actually cried because they were not being together for awhile or having a break. But when Namjoon cried, my heart aches and burst into tears.
They will now be living apart unlike till now they've literally been together for almost 13 plus years including their trainee days .They've decided that they're gonna take a break from their music career as a group Bangtan. But they will be around each other and they will be working on their solo projects or will take some rest and carry on with life without all the pressure. And they are concerned about ARMY'S will be disappointed If they're not being with them and be online 24/7. So they sincerely hope Army's will understand that it's been too much of amount of work over the past 10 years and Army's will also support their descision. They cry over the fact that they're all grown up and it's time and they have to be on their own now.I as an army, wishes that they should be happy doing what they love. I will support them no matter what they choose to become or how they choose to live their life. It's their life Afterall.
Let's putting aside the fact that i will definitely miss them, I just want them to be happy and at peace. I wish this day should not come but it came , that's the reality and we have to accept it. It hurts that they are explaining their words which the media twisted. That's why only believe what BTS is saying. Don't worry they are not going anywhere, they are not on hiatus or not disbanding, they are on a break for sometime to recharge themselves and create good quality music and still do group activities but will prioritize on solo projects for now.
BTS is definitely the best thing that ever happened in my life, I'm very proud of everything they've achieved and everything they're going to achieve.

Honestly, I am so happy for them. The hardest thing was watching Namjoon, but I'll just remember how happy they all looked in the VLive after their music show performance, because I know that was recorded after this dinner. They must be so relieved now.
On my part, I am OT7 ARMY and for me nothing will change. I intend to support every single release for each member in exactly the same fashion as I have always done. Just think about it: We're getting 7 completely new musical experiences with the Tannies and I can't wait!! 💜 We have their enlistment coming up anyway, so this way of working will give them fewer complications concerning their schedules.
If any baby ARMYs are anxious, I will highly recommend that you start watching all their old content like Vlives etc. either alone or in this lovely familia. Get to know the boys' journey, their lyrics and musical development in depth so that when they come back together, you can appreciate them to the fullest extent. I started back in 2019 and I still have content I have yet to see. Man, these lovely men have worked their behinds off for us. Let's do the same for them!

For real, this Dinner party where we could listen to what goes on in their minds makes me respect them even more, even though I already respect them so much.
Some Armys were right all along, they've really changed a lot with Butter, Permission to Dance (after ON). They felt like it wasn't the Bangtan Sonyeondan they used to love anymore, but I really had no idea with it since I'm a new Army. However, I admire how BTS especially Namjoon (as the leader) responded with this. First is they try to make the Armys understand about it, because it really helps a lot for us and it keeps us not to feel being left behind from them. Second is they're taking a break from doing group activities. They could have just release another English songs and pursue the Grammys not minding themselves getting lost and exhausted. But I admire them because they choose to save themselves first, to rediscover their identity once again. It just shows music is really the most important for them, and not just about/for awards and fame. I love it. I love how sincere they are to us, and to their crafts. They cannot just fake it, we see it through their eyes. Third is they choose to still be BTS though they'll be doing solo projects from now on. We can tell well that they are really not toxic to each other, since they love being together that much.
With this, the respect and love I have for them even sky-rocketed more than before. There's just no other groups for me, other than these Bangtan 7. Whatever future that lies ahead for them, I'm so here for it. And even though there were moments where I was hurt and sad about them, I really won't complain about it since I love them so much. I'll take care of myself too, so when the times for them coming back, we're all ready. 💜

I Love BTS, and I have never cried before seeing them or watching their festas, but seeing Namjoon cry like that hit me hard. Familia this broke everyone, not the "off" period, no, it was because the members broke down and started crying because of how worn out they were. Imagine, they were supposed to start their "chapter 2" after ON promotions but they stuck it out for us, they were there for us because of the pandemic that took a toll on everyon including them, they put us first before themselves. I am extremely happy that they are finally putting themselves first and taking care of themselves. I can't wait to see what each one of them have in store for us, we know we will always support them, as a group and as individuals. It's absolutely beautiful and it means a lot how they wanted to tell us this themselves and how much our thoughts mean to them. Right now, the best we can do for these 7 amazing men is give our full support to each of them. I'm also glad RUN BTS is returning soon, just shows they do not want to leave us wothout any group content, afterall, they are going to be having group activities, just not music for now. I hope they come back as one strong group after they feel very satisfied and happy with themselves, we will be waiting for that day!! I still tear up when I remember little moments from this festa dinner ARMY will always be there for bangtan no matter what and when namjoon started to cry and all the members I lost it I couldn’t stop crying even after the video was finished and hobi as I was typing this posted on Instagram his 7 tattoo and started to cry again because they decided to get these “7” friendship tattoos together as they are about to work individually to grow as artists and as army got to know the news that they will be working on more solo projects/taking a break but will still be a group a group of 7 and that’s BTS, we know bangtan will come back stronger like they said and ARMY will be waiting and still supporting through this journey 💜

Just like every Army, I needed some time to digest what transpired, as I wasn’t prepared for the roller coaster of emotions that ensued. However, since you guys are my favorite, I’ve decided to share here with you. We each have our personal stories about the time we found BTS or even how they found us, mostly during times when we were going through some challenges. The boys have indeed been a blessing to us in so many ways and in order to do that, they have had to make personal sacrifices that they have actively chosen to keep from us, in a continued effort to always keep us happy and entertained. Without intending to undermine the boundless contributions of each of our boys, RM has also selflessly devoted himself to being this exceptional leader, voice and even protector of both Bangtan and Army. In the process, he has somehow neglected his personal growth as an artist. Even more admirable, is the fact that he feels guilty about feeling this personal need, for fear that we will be disappointed. However, he is the leader and the heart of this journey and when the heart is hurting the rest of the body follows. Hence, the rest of the group acknowledges this and agrees that indeed, this is the right time to start a new chapter - to finally do things in their own flavour, with the aim of bettering themselves, so that when they start another chapter, together again, they can give us even more outstanding and lifelong experiences. I am excited. Aside from this one hot bowl of amazing hotpot, we will soon be treated to seven other specialty dishes! In the meantime, remember how RM described their success into ratio : 5% from each member, 15% from the company and 50% from Army? Indeed, half the responsibility of ensuring that our boys will have every reason to come back again as one, falls on us - ARMYs! So let’s continue as we have done before, this time with even more fervor. Let’s support every single member like never before. To borrow from that song, in order for our boys to soar individually, let us be the wind beneath their wings! BTS and ARMY FOREVER!
The thing is the other groups would just go solo without any notify like this when they become successfull enough. But when BTS does it becomes so much more serious and emotional, and they always hesitate to do it because they’re scared of ARMY being disappointed. Because like V said, they obsess over being a group, and not just them but at some point we and the world also obsess over BTS being a group and that affected them a lot. They feel like they always have to work as one team and they feel sorry to even think about being apart and going solo. It’s not even a big deal for any other groups tho especially when some of the members have to go to military soon, the rest going solo is just expected. So when the news of BTS going on a hiatus came out i was honestly scared that they would stop making music cause it sounded so serious 🥲 Thank God we still have a lot to expect from them in the future 🥰 And V is appearing in IN THE SOOP with his friends soon so im not sad anymore
I'm really glad they are taking this time to find themselves as individuals. It's not like they are gone forever. It's like any other relationship sometimes time apart does the heart justice. Also thank goodness for social media we can always go back to all their previous videos and songs just to get our daily fix. They need this break, it does sadden and gives me so much admiration they don't ever stop thinking of the Army....do what you have to do our 7 Kings and thank you for all the memories and the ones to come💜💜💜🤟

Hardest working artist I know and the most genuine artists. You can see how much they love and care for army and don't want to upset and disappoint us cause we have supported them unconditionally for years and we are like family and part of the reason bts bond is like family too, because of army. please never forget these stuff army. The thing that was the hardest about watching it was seeing how much all the members were going through and none of us ever knew even a bit about it b4. And seeing Joon really breakdown crying like that cuz he actually felt guilty for making such a brave decision and all the members getting even more emotional was the hardest and most heartbreaking part of it all😭 I'm sure we as armys will always support and be there for them no matter what path they choose that feels right to them and i just hope that they know that and don't worry or feel guilty about making such decisions for their own happiness!💜

We are going to get so much new content from them individually and so many new flavors of the members that I’m honestly SO excited to see!! And I also think because I know with certainty that they will be a group together once again, and be BTS for as long as they can, I’m so excited for them to do these solo projects! Because that way they will build themselves anew as artists and come together even stronger than before! And I can’t WAIT to get that individualized flavor of every piece of Bangtan! I can handle a year or two of no new group stuff! Actually, I’m really happy for it, because now this finally FINALLY gives me the chance to go back and watch their old content!! (My goal: Go through the entirety of the BTS Content Index from first tweet/log/performance to the most recent. It’ll be a MONSTER goal, but a worthwhile one and a goal I’ve personally had for a year now but never had the time to with new content coming. But now I’ll finally have the chance to for these few years of break!! I’m SO freaking excited to do it!! I can’t wait to get started!! And then on top of that, still getting new solo content and the individual flavors of Bangtan as I go through their group growth??? Sign me tf up!! I’m so ready for this break because it finally gives me the chance to grow as a BTS fan and an ARMY and learn their history and lineage and large monumental events that affected them personally (both good and bad) and how that shifted their musical tone and styling to the group and member behavior and how they grew to become family and very good people. I’m SO excited to get started on this! 😆😆 So anyway, that’s my goal on the group’s “break” which isn’t even really a break since we’ll be getting new music and flavors and artistic creations of all kinds from every single member! I really can’t wait to get to know Joon and Jimin and JK and everyone else as an individual! And later see them all come together to create an even better group!! It will be like experiencing a whole new BTS debut!!!! Which I’m so excited to get to experience and understand this is what début fans must have felt like! And anyway, even during all this solo stuff we will still get content with them being together!! I bet we’ll get cute Insta photos of them hanging out, or see cams of some of them in the crowd of an individual member performance, or see them sitting or hanging out together at award shows and such if their solo stuff gets nominated and they choose to go! It will be so exciting to see their friendship in this way, because it speaks to how truly close they are as friends and family to want to spend time with one another even when they are not obligated to professionally! And we’ve always known their closeness, but this will be a whole new statement of their camaraderie and love for each other born not out of group obligation, but of true friendship and love. They are only going solo PROFESSIONALLY, not personally 😊 They are BFFs after all! And I can’t wait for this new chapter that will show that more than anything!
Anyway, I’m really looking forward to all this and I can’t WAIT to experience what’s about to happen because we have NO idea, and that’s the most exciting part about it! I hope you guys enjoy it too, and I’ll see you later! 😊

I'm so proud of BTS and ARMY's hard work. BTS is now untouchable and unreachable, unstoppable even, but they chose hit the brakes for now, to search deep within and to be happy. Now they are reaping the results and are now able to do things freely.

As Taehyung stated in his weverse post, this is a healthy step that BTS are taking to ensure that Bullentproof lasts forever! So while we wait for them, let’s focus on supporting all the boys through their journey towards self-recollection!!💜💜
I think RM is talking about the fact that there were so many that were saying "They said that they would never write and English song, I thought they said that they didn't care about American Awards, The English songs are not as strong and as meaningful as the Korean songs, why are they doing an Anthology Album they aren't that old" all the things people said that were hard on BTS. We have to remember Bang Shi Hyuk also told them it was hard to promote them as they are only making positive messaging music and so they only travel laterally. It is actually the best thing for them. It has been years that they have seen other group's individuals that came out at the same time or a little before that are years into their solo carreers. People like Kai, D.O., Jackson Wang, etc. So the time has come for them to do the same. I am happy that they each have their ideas of what to do. I think they laughed when Jin winked because this was shot earlier than June. I heard them in this video say something like "by the time this one's out, we've already gone to the White House" and then they're still about to have music shows in Korea and all... Like taped as live to be aired later... So I think that's why they laughed in some parts. There was even a part where Jimin said, "I don't know how much we can air in this," while laughing and then put his hand on his cheek as if about to cover his mouth. :D lol
